Quality Back-to-School Necessities

I love back-to-school shopping! Although I love getting good deals and finding inexpensive supplies I am also focused on quality. For items my son will be using all year long I'll pay a little more as long as I know it's a superior product. Here are a few great items I found this year!

Fairfax Back Pack

The first thing we always pick out is the backpack and then find supplies to go with it. My son is an animal so I need a sturdy back pack. I usually shop at Land's End or LL Bean but this year decided to try Pottery Barn Kids. I ordered the navy Fairfax large backpack with red trim. Of course I had my son's initials monogrammed so no one else would end up with his packpack. I could tell right away this backpack would last the year with my son.

Fits children who are over 4' tall.
12.5" wide x 7.5" deep x 17" high
Made from rugged, water-resistant 600-denier polyester.
Holds 1 laptop, 2 full size binders, 3-4 medium books or notebooks.
Features roomy pockets inside and out, and an MP3 holder with a grommet for headphone wires.
Detailed with reflective threads and piping for safety.
Adjustable straps ensure a comfortable fit.
Can be expanded by 2" to accommodate larger items.
Fairfax Lunch Bag (sold separately) piggybacks onto the backpack's exterior metal loops.

Bento Box

A bento box is a great product because it allows parents to give their kids a variety of food every day. I also like the idea of giving up all the baggies I pack every day. It was important to me to find something that would last and that was BPA-free. This bento box satisfied all of my requirements.
