This is a very nice nature coloring book!

What's nice about nature coloring books, is that we can color the leaves to look like spring, summer, or fall, and of course there are some winter sense in this coloring book too. I like the squirrels, birds, butterflies, and many other critters that live in the wild. Plus, the boook has captions on each page, which makes it educational for kids.

The Whitetail Deer has a thick tail that is white on the underside, they use it as a flag to warn other deer when they sense danger. Where I grew up, we had deer coming into the yard all the time, and my mom still does (she feeds them). Did you know that the Whitetail is the largest deer on North America? Whitetails like to live in open brushy areas, in forests, and swamps. They like to browser about as they eat twigs, herbs, grass, shrubs, acorns, and fungi. The Eastern Chipmunk and the least Chipmunk are common in the United States and Canada. The Eastern Chipmunks in this coloring page, live as far west as Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, and Nebraska, and in southern Canada. The Least Chipmunks live in the Rocky Mountain states and much of Canada. The strips on its face are more prominent than those of the Eastern Chipmunk. Also, the Least Chipmunk is smaller, and its tail is about the same length as its head and body. The stripes on its back and sides extend to the base of the tail. The fur may be pale yellowish-gray or a tawny gray, with black and whitish stripes. Chipmunks dig burrows and sometimes eat fruit and flower bulbs in orchards and gardens. In northern areas, they hibernate during the winter. The animals on this coloring sheet are gathering acorns to store as food. The one in the background has filled its checks.
If you sit real still in your back yard, the chipmunks and squirrels will come to eat food out of your hand. Once they get to know you, they will become your friends. They love nuts, bird food, seeds, strawberries or any fruits, bread, crackers, bread, even potato chips. When Chipmunks sense danger, they go hid. They make a chip-chip-chip sound, or some times even a chuck-chuck-chuck sound. They are just so cute.

I grew up in northern Minnesota and saw lots of bears in our back yard. One time my Mom was frying bacon for breakfast, and a bear came right up to the back door sniffing. My Dad was able to scare the bear away by yelling at it to get away. Its good to keep food and garbage safely put away, so that bears don't think they can get a free meal from you when they are hungry.
