Places to Backlink a Squidoo Lens or Other Web Pages
I'm determined this year to build more backlinks for my Squidoo lenses. I've been lazy about building these links, but see frequent recommendations to create these to increase the value of your web site (or lens). Google is impressed by a quantity of high-quality backlinks.
I make no judgements on which ones carry more weight with Google, but will create a simple list here. It will serve as a reminder to me to make more of these ever-so-important links.

- A site that lets you save images with a link. The format is like a pin board and you can create boards on different topics to sort your interests.
- RedGage
- RedGage is a website that pays you for your content and monetizes your social activity. They have contests, but for me the greatest value is to post my links and sometimes photos.
- Love Blinks
- Write a simple article and link together lenses for backlinks. You can earn with adsense on the site. Here's my referral link:

- Backlinks are the make or break of any web page and a necessary evil for success. It's a shame squidoo make all lensmaster links nofollow, unless you're linking to another lens. They obviously don't want any of their link 'juice' being leaked to external sites
