Chiropractors can work wonders for back pain and help prevent future injury. When in pain, we just want to do anything to relieve it. My sister was facing spinal fusion many years ago and she was healed. The orthopedic surgeon was fascinated by her recovery which couldn't be medically explained.

Hi David, nice lens to help people with their back pain. People that I know are sleeping better and reducing their pain and inflammation with Nopal Cactus juice. It seems to really help your body reduce the inflammation. To read more please visit my lens on Nopalea. Thanks for the great info!

Working from a least invasive to most invasive form of treatment usually makes the most sense. Chiropractic care can be very beneficial for many types of back pain and other conditions. It's important to remember there is more than one type of Chiropractic care.

Personally I would try every alternative before surgery! I'm sorry that chiropractic care didn't help you - but when it comes to the body there is no 'one-size-fits-all' solution.
    Here's a simple stretching exercise:
Cat stretch: Get on hands and knees and do a cat back stretch, by rounding your spine and holding the position for 30 seconds, then relaxing. Repeat several times.

I ended up in physical therapy due to extreme back pain during pregnancy, it turned out later that it was not the back byitself, instead it was the uteris that was leaning on my spine.

I have had back problems in the past but luckily not for the last few years. Why the change? For me, I think it was stress related and once whatever was causing me a great deal of stress went away - so too did the back pain.

I really don't know. I did hurt my back serval times as when I practically lifted my car out of a snow bank once. That really crippled me for a while. One big things to ease one's problem is not to carry too much luggage in the front end - and I don't mean beyond your belt-line - I mean your belt-line !
