As a mother of 4 children ranging in age 9-15, August is a whirlwind of getting school supplies, new shoes, reviewing supply lists and deciding which uniforms are out-grown and which uniforms will sufface for the first few months of school.

Backpacks should have a durable, coated fabric, repel sharp objects, resist tears and turn back raindrops.Backpacks should have load lifter straps which ease the weight on the shoulders.
They should have a padded back with wicking synthetic fabric for comfort.
Backpacks should have a reinforced pack bottom to protect the end that gets abused the most!
