Transformers games are also a good idea to backup. You never know when your files will go missing due to hard-drive failure or other....

I think that cloud storage is the way to go now and for the foreseeable future. Backing stuff up online is like having a briefcase that you needn't lug around, and is inherently more secure than your own personal hardrive because they've got IT people monitoring it. My husband and I keep all the files for our Visa Black Card affiliate on Backup Online and Mediafire (in case one gets corrupted somehow).

Backups are pretty important. You never know when something can go wrong like accidentally deleting a file. I'd suggest using dropbox. Its an awesome service.

Speaking from experience, online backup is the way to go. I have a wedding marketing business and it is vital that I keep all my information current, up-to-date and most importantly, accessible from anywhere I have an internet connection. It is a tremendous peace of mind that I have access to a complete online backup no matter where I am.

It is really good to use online back-ups for all your files. It only not gives you access to your files even if you are away from your own PC, you are also sure at the same time that you won't easily lose those files once your having trouble with your PC.

    great post!
I think it is best to first let the online software company choose the files etc to backup...then check to see what it has missed and add those too. (most have a size limit of 2-3 GB)

I agree that online backup is an important part of any good backup strategy. However volume of data can make it cumbersome. I always recommend my clients use a combination of on and off site backup, onsite is much easier to recover quickly from but offsite is safer in cases of fire flood or theft. Check out some of my on site suggestions and tips http://www.aitsavemyfiles.com/armor-itrecoveryblog.php let me know if you'd like to incorporate some of these tips into your Squidoo page.
