Backyard Barbecue - Party Planning Tips

When planning your backyard barbecue begin by putting together your guest list and creating a tasty menu that will appeal to
everyone on the list.

Choose a theme for your backyard barbecue and select decorations and party invitations in line with this theme.
Shop well ahead of time and also ensure that you have enough propane or charcoal for your grill.
The day before the party, check that you have everything you need and, if necessary, go and do some last minute shopping.
Before the backyard barbecue put your selected cuts of meat, trimmed of fat, into re-sealable plastic bagswith marinate and then place in the refrigerator.
On the day, decorate the area with the party decorations you selected and you may also want to phone guests to remind them of the party and ensure they have directions (or you could just send out an email to everyone with a map to your place).
