Hello! Thanks for the great post. The best way to attract birds to your yard or garden is to provide bird food, water, and shelter. Our store YourBirdOasis.com has many different birding products to choose from. See: http://www.yourbirdoasis.com.

I love this lens. I grew up birdwatching with my mom, she instilled a great respect for birds and their habitat. Thanks for the great lens. Jesse

Creating a backyard habitat for birds is not easy. You provide a great deal of the much needed information.
    Good job!

You have put together a wondeful resource! Please visit my lens, Create a Backyard Habitat - a Hobby for the Whole Family. Our 4 year old can already recognize 5 native birds who visit our feeders, including "boy" and "girl" cardinals!

Have you seen my www.squidoo.com/bluebirds flying over to your backyard? They love the birdhouse camera and since they are young bluebirds they also enjoy reading Your Big Backyard magazine. 5*'s

Very informative, and so many links! I also love hummers, and sit close to my huge honeysuckle bush to watch them. This year they delighted me with games of chasing each other around the bush. 5*

I love all of the info about hummingbirds. I love them and have many that come to my feeders. They are so fearless and curious. They will fly right up to me and "check me out" when I'm outside. I've had them land on the feeder while I am holding it.

My Organic Wildlife garden is in the middle of a city in SW England, UK. There are plenty of native trees around so we get all kinds of birds, including at the moment a family of Robins (red breasted).
