This is a great way to spend time. I watch birds from my window and have a tree in a pot outside my patio doors which the blue tits and sparrows perch in giving me a super close view. Love this lens!

I love birdwatching! I'm lucky because my house is surrounded by mature woods so all I had to do is add feeders and water. I have all the typical Eastern woodland birds and occasionally an unusual traveler. I can't wait to participate in the Backyard Bird Count this weekend. Thanks for the tour of your bird habitat.

    Love this!
We get the Rufuous Hummingbird and the Anna's....which has recently been upgraded to "year round" status...so keep my hummingbird feeders filled all winter as well, (which can be tough in a cold snap having to change them out every hour :), but well worth it!

Wing high five, and I'm going to lensroll this one :)
    Thank you!

My best friend's parents house had a bird sanctuary in their backyard and it was amazing! My best friend used to get annoyed because it was part of her chores to clean up and fill the feeders but I always thought she was so lucky to have such an exquisite backyard. Great lens. Brings back lots of memories! Thank you for sharing. 5 stars!

We had a pretty good backyard sanctuary until the workers showed up in January to begin our home renovation project -- the project is STILL going on with hammering as I sit here writing. Learned to focus focus focus more and more each day during the past 4 months! And, since the hammering our birds are a bit reticent on visiting -- except for the cardinals! And, mockingbirds -- they are pretty brave.

Excellent lens. I love watching humming birds, but we don't have them in London, but I can watch the ring-necked parakeets, jays, woodpeckers...etc. that regularly visit my back garden, for hours.

Very nice lens, 5***** I miss the Robins, Blackbirds and Cardinals we had in Indiana, but I love watching the Herons, Cranes, Pelicans and Egrets here in South Florida. The birds sometimes think they rule the place - especially the ducks.

My former name was Jeannie Allen. I guess your passion is birds! I love to see them in my garden. We have cardinals that visit regularly, chickadees of course here in Maine, and hummingbirds regularly visit my flowers and flowering bushes. The hummingbirds favorite in my garden is my bright red Bee Balm. Nice pics on this lens. 5 *'s! Thanks for congratulating me on making Giant Squid, too! It's exciting. My goal is 500 lenses.

Wonderful lens! Very good information on feeder placement and landscaping etc. I love birds and our garden is full of the sound of birdsong as I write this. It is just great to have that connection with nature. I love watching them and we have feeders and birdbaths which they use all the time. 5 stars and lensrolling you to "our nesting blackbirds" which are just lovely. Thank you.

Hello, actually I have seen a different bird than I have ever seen before, on a short weekend trip we took to Antelope Island in the middle of the Salt Lake in Utah. It had long blue legs, and a very long beak. Still trying to figure out what it is. I have pictures too.
