Heinz Tomato Ketchup or HP Brown Sauce - Which Is Best ?

choosing the best sauce to put on a bacon sandwich is not a matter of life and death...it's more important than that! (thanks Mr Shankly)
Tomato sauce or brown sauce which is best? I believe that use of brown sauce only should be made a law and anyone using red sauce on their bacon sandwiches should be incarcerated and have the key thrown away. Brown sauce was designed for bacon.
Tomato ketchup does have its place. I enjoy it with cheese and I love it with poached eggs, but you can't beat brown sauce (particularly HP) with smoky bacon in a fresh bread sandwich.
Imagine...sitting in that cafe with a mug of hot tea or coffee. Smell the bacon.mmmmmmmmmmmmm and then taste the sauce. The ideal brunch or breakfast! Many readers of course will be familiar with the main protagonists. The red sauce heavy weight is Heinz Tomato Ketchup, and the main contender in the brown corner is HP Sauce.

- I usually only have brown sauce if my wife passes across the fattier bits of bacon and she always uses a lot of the stuff. Ketchup for me please.

- Brown HP sauce for me, if the choice is between that and Heinz Tomatoe sauce, but my very favoritest is Encona Chili sauce, and Wing Yip crunchy chili prawn sauce, so, all in all, I would have to say red, but not for the expected reason.

- I've never heard of HP sauce before, but it sounds good. As an ex-resident of Pittsburgh though, Heinz ketchup is something I've consumed quite a bit of - my dad puts it on everything! I can't imagine it ever on bacon though.
