Loved Your Lens! You really put a lot of good information in it.

Razzle dazzle Zazzle is starting to frazzle. I love 'em anyway though. Still, the bigger they get, the buggier their filters. Hope you got through to a human being and that they reinstated your products. Fun Monkey Brain lens!

You got an idea and ran to beat 69 with it....some things wil just make our brains go tilt!

Interesting subject to write about, the number 69.
  • Edutopia Jan 2, 2012 @ 4:38 am | delete
Sounds like they had a really really lazy filter set up where there was a correlation between the number 69 and other content on pages equaling out to a PG-13 page. In stead of trying to make something heuristic or adaptive they just blanket state 69 = PG-13.

I really enjoyed my stay here! HEH, I'm the 59th like! Come on 69, almost there. :)

Really, like I said in the first debate module, I really hope the cheese hasn't fallen this far off of zazzle's cracker. Even when you look at 69's other more...sexy meaning, it's not a bad thing. Could be worse, could mean something racist or hurtful to another group.

I teach math and 69 will inevitably come up. I have never goofed up on that, nor heard any snickers. Go figure. If adults only knew what 4-20 meant....now that's a "bad" number.

Nicely done. When you get to 68 likes, will it jump to 70?

Very engaging (can I say that word here?) lens!

Someone needs to give this software a human review. I adore the steamy cup of coffee design! :) I also have great tits who visit my bird feeder... should I tell them they are banned?
  • BuddyBink Nov 26, 2011 @ 7:11 pm | delete
Just an after thought, what are they going to do when you get 69 thumbs up on this lens?
  • BuddyBink Nov 26, 2011 @ 7:10 pm | delete
An excellent lens on how PC we have become.

Any number can hold a significance. Same symbol can be perceived as “good” or “bad” by different people living in different cultures.
Let’s take the number 13 for example. For some people this means bad luck while others see it as a sign of fortune.
69 is a number like any other number. If the adults with their perverted and creative minds see another thing in it and keep it away from the children and threat the number 69 as a “taboo” number then this will add weight to it and it will eventually become a “bad” number.
Just like the middle finger is just another finger but due to our association with it being “bad” it has become an insult.
Children are born without preconceived ideas. It is the adults that are inserting these ideas into their little forming minds.
If we begin treating a number as being “bad” then it will become bad!
Like someone else in here said, should we count from 68 to 70 from now on? Like some hotels do with their room numbers?

My What's New Pussycat? lens was caught in Squidoo's spam filter. What's the world coming to! 69 thumbs up for a fun and enjoyable lens.

Funny lens, Erich! People do have a funny obsession with the meaning of numbers...
  • RuralFrance Nov 24, 2011 @ 10:09 am | delete
I'm sure the people of dept. 69 Rhône France will be pleased to know they're PG13
  • savenlives Nov 24, 2011 @ 9:55 am | delete
This is hysterical, I love it!!
  • akarki Nov 24, 2011 @ 9:33 am | delete
this is a really funny lens, i would give it to my 13 years old granddaughter, and i am sure she will not ask for explanation why that number is bad, shameful, banned. Later will be quite attractive...
  • pussycat Nov 24, 2011 @ 3:32 am | delete
Thanks for the laugh - really cool lens! And a word of advice to all censors: the more you classify something as bad and forbidden the more interesting you make it, especially to 13 yr olds! Believe me - I was 13 once (btw we should do away with 13th birthdays. Move straight from 12 to 14!) :D
  • Zut_Moon Nov 24, 2011 @ 2:18 am | delete
Sorry, I can't count that high but I will say that my favoutite numbers are 7, 9, 15, 22 so go out and buy a lotto ticket with those numbers and when you win, remember me. Ok ...so was I close to 69 characters. I don't know ... YOU COUNT THEM ... LOL
  • nevets_sdoow Nov 23, 2011 @ 5:34 pm | delete
I wonder what would happen if you dropped a number 2 on Zazzle...
  • fanfreluche Nov 23, 2011 @ 4:27 pm | delete
I used to live on the 13th floor, but there was no 13 in the elevator, so I where was I living? It's just numbers. Since we are on silly stuff, they should ban number 6 altogether...no more 666 or 69! End of problems until new numbers replace them. then we can ban again. People stupidity knows no end.
  • grannysage Nov 23, 2011 @ 4:14 pm | delete
It is not just 69 that is deemed significant. Most hotels do not have a 13th floor, although if you are on the 14th floor it is still the 13th floor so what's the point? And Friday the 13th superstitions just make me laugh. People should research where these things come from. I drove down Hwy 666 on time and nothing bad happened to me. They've since changed the name of the highway. Yes, I agree that the world has gone overboard trying to protect kids from life. I love all your examples on this lens. I think we should boycott them all. It would be great irony if you made 69 sales at Zazzle at one time.
  • ElleDeeEsse Nov 24, 2011 @ 3:25 am | delete
There is no #13 in my street! I am #15 and the house next door is #11
  • nancycarol Nov 23, 2011 @ 3:22 pm | delete
I'm thinking we should ban the numbers 1 and 7 because they obviously mean something since they're so closely alike....how about that? GEEZ, what a silly thing to ban, numbers that are used all over the world daily.
  • Waxing-Lyrical Nov 23, 2011 @ 12:38 pm | delete
Fun page! Does this mean your lens is limited to 69 likes? ;)
  • scarlettohairy Nov 23, 2011 @ 12:05 pm | delete
    how funny!
  • scarlettohairy Nov 23, 2011 @ 12:05 pm | delete
    Oh how funny!
  • terrapin719 Nov 23, 2011 @ 11:21 am | delete
I know my house full of boys will giggle at anything even remotely sex related. It's funny, because this "number" was mentioned the other day and three out of four kids giggled a little bit. :-p My youngest was all like, "What's so funny?"

If we censored everything that makes a little boy giggle or snicker in this way there wouldn't be very much left to say!!
  • NYtoSCimjustme Nov 23, 2011 @ 10:54 am | delete
I agree with Frischy... That would be like banning Oscar Meyer from advertising their 'weiner'... taking censorship just a bit too far.
  • Showpup Nov 23, 2011 @ 10:51 am | delete
Censoring a number is just ridiculous. Maybe we should call for a ban on calculators in school. They might click 69! What other naughty numbers can we come up with... 666, 13, 4 (I'm known around here to swear that the number 4 is evil after a card game gone wrong) or how about 16, there aint nothing sweet about 16. Or how about 17? Oh wait, I don't want to explain that one... ;-)
  • Frischy Nov 23, 2011 @ 10:26 am | delete
Ha ha! Fun lens! I was ten years old in 69 and I do not remember any significance to those numbers. I cannot remember any giggling, even from the naughty boys in my class. It was all innocent back then. Unfortunately, it is not the same today; but, to censor this number seems misguided to me. Now if you had pictures of sex acts on your page, that would be different. But, a two-digit number?! What's next? Are they going to censor the word "eating"?!
