When you take out a payday loan, you will need to give the lender a cheque dated for the date that your salary is paid into your bank account, or give the lender your bank details to enable the funds to be transferred from your bank electronically on your payday. Although interest rates are high, this will be a one off fee based on the amount of the loan and, provided the loan and interest is repaid on the agreed date, you will not be subject to any more interest charges.
