Everyday is a Bad Hairday

I just went to the salon. They washed my hair, conditioned it, cut it, blew it out, and styled it. I think I've gone to heaven, my hair feels so silky and healthy. I'm looking like one of those hollywood stars walking out of the salon. Every strand is in unison taking a bow as if they're saying" Thank you, thank you." And then it happens... I am caught in a giant fishnet. It's covering my face and strangling my neck. I can't breathe. I'm drowning... HELP!!! --- I wake up... it was just a dream... no a nightmare... and here I am laying in bed with MY CRAZY HAIR WRAPPED AROUND MY NECK AND ALL IN MY FACE... AAAARRGGG!!! People call it Hawaiian hair where I am. It's thick enough to put hair on three heads and still look full. The monster reaches to down to my waist.  Now that is a lot of hair. But it's sooooo - nice to be able to run your fingers through your hair a minute after you brush it without hitting a tangle.  Man do I know about tangles.  My hair can be brushed and in one gust of breeze it'll come alive and to spite me, tangle itself on purpose. I swear. Here's a few tricks I've picked up and products I've tried that have helped.

1.  I never blow dry my  hair.  It only makes me look like the cat that got in the Dryer, (Poof) that and blowdrying is bad for your hair anyway.

2.  After a shower I towel off my hair and either put it up in the towel, for the girl who can get away with the kind of messy wavy look, or I just put it in a braid or two and lay a towel on your pillow.In the morning my hair is still a little damp but not much still soft and smooth.

3.  Watch for Weather, and wear your do as the weather permits. ex. if it's too windy, put your hair in a pony tail. If it's raining, just braid your hair and use some hairspray.

4.   Chi Flat Irons are Awesome and Pureology's Shinemax ShiningSmoother work great on my hair.

5.  And if you're really in a rush u can always do my favorite... quickie do- fixer...  just put it up in a bun.
