Leaf Bagette- Crochet Pattern
designed by Akua Lezli Hope
From Akua Lezli Hope:Leaves necklace this drawstring pouch. Large enough to carry today's essentials: cellphone, id, pen, makeup, toiletries, but small and light, it may be made smaller by felting. Unfelted, it measures 8.5" wide by 6.5" high. The straps were made 4 feet long so the bag may hang across the body. You may want them shorter, or explore other options for straps. Many color combinations will work. It has a texture band across the middle that could function as a color band accent as well as a textural one.

Not a Sandy Bottom- Knit Pattern
designed by Dorothy Dean
This makes a great beach bag, since the sand will fall out of it. Sand in the bottom of my bags is a problem here. :) With a few modifications, you can make this bag into a yoga mat bag, a water bottle bag, or a larger or smaller tote. It's incredibly stretchy, so don't worry if it looks small after it's knit up.

EBook Reader Case- Crochet Pattern
designed by Akua Lezli Hope
Adornment and protection unite seamlessly in this eBook Reader case.
With about 120 yards of heavy worsted weight, you can extend your fiber love to your eReader by making several cases, in colors you prefer. The pattern creates a case 6" x 1" x 8.5" which fits Kindle, Nook and Sony models. The case has "give" so that you may cover your hard cover. The pattern also includes suggestions for creating a larger case, should you want to felt it.

Mini Meeting Bag- Knit Pattern
designed by Marlene Sigel
CARRY ESSENTIALS IN THIS EASY, ONE-SKEIN MINI BAG
This little bag is knit in one piece using one skein of Noro Daria and embellished with a 1" button. As the name implies, I designed it to take with me to meetings when I didn't want to carry a large purse.
The entire piece is knit in Moss Stitch with a four-row repeat over an even number of stitches. Side seams are sewn using a whipstitch.
When closed, the bag measures approximately 5 1/2" in width by 4 3/4" in length. Finished dimensions can easily be adjusted, but a larger bag will require more than one skein of Daria. Bag as shown uses one full skein.
Although gauge isn't too critical in this design, the knitted fabric should be firm.

Twinkling Trellis Cellphone Cozy- Knit Pattern
designed by stickfia at Ravelry
A trellis pattern, embellished with beads, makes this cellphone cozy twinkle.
When I had finished my third pair of socks in the Twinkling Trellis pattern I couldn't stop knitting. So I went on and created this cute little cellphone cozy.

Summer Citrus Bag- Crochet and Knit Pattern
designed by Lindsey Stephens
From Lindsey Stephens:Spike stitches add bursts of color on this stylish and functional bag. The handles support easy carrying while the drawstring top keeps contents secure. Inspired by lemon and lime - two citrus fruits, each with their own flavor - the drawstring closure section is in knitted stockinette stitch, making the bag a mix of knit and crochet - two needlearts each with their own style and flavor. The handles are made using foundation single crochet stitches, with alternate directions for those who would prefer a traditional chain and separate single crochet rounds.

Flower Burst Bag- Crochet Pattern
designed by Yasmin Gamal
Lovely flowers in the middle of a sturdy handbag make the Flower Burst a happy addition to any wardrobe. The handbag does not need to be lined because the base is crocheted tight and most of your small objects will fall to the bottom. An every day handbag, a picnic bag, a library book bag or a beach bag the choice is yours

Laptop Cardigan Sleeve- Crochet Pattern

Yarn weight, hook size and gauge are not important since you will be measuring against your laptop anyway.

designed by Yasmin Gamal
From Yasmin Gamal:Very easy to make. Make it in cotton for an everyday purse or in a shimmery yarn for something suitable for an evening out on the town

The purse does not need to be lined but the pattern includes simple instructions on how to hand sew the lining.

- You could do it. Crochet's much easier to learn than knitting. The Marina bag looks like a simple lace pattern which can also be much easier to do than knitted lace.
