Bai Ling's latest scandal was to be caught walking away from a gift shop with $16 worth of celebrity magazines and two packs of batteries without paying.

Apparently, she had just broken up with her boyfriend, one day before Valentine's Day to boot.

No wonder she was too traumatised to pay for her purchases. It's nice to have a friend backing you up in your time of need.

Strangely enough, she is calm enough to blog and post photos about her flight from LA.

No mention about the arrest though, probably a case of repressed memories.
