It's All About The Bait Line

There are many arguments about what actually the first rule of fishing is and what is most important. Here we will talk about the importance of a good baited line. When an angler is out there on the lakes and shores of rivers it is important to understand that you have to make the fish want to grab your hook, or your bait at the end of your line.

Why should a fish stop what they are doing and grab a hold of your line and bait? You have to make them want your bait and line. The fish is going to go after whatever is the easiest food source to catch and what one gives them the biggest pay off. So do not be stingy with the baited line. For a fish to stop going after something that they have already spotted or to even spot your line it is important for them to first be able to see your bait and line and second to want to go after it.
If you throw a line out with a minuet amount of bait at the end, the fish may not even see it. Let's face it a lot of these waters are not crystal clear waters. There may be a lot of murk and things that may cause the fish to not even notice your baited line. Really load up on the bait and hopefully you will find that it works to your advantage.

Bait really is one of the most important things to consider when fishing. Not only do you want to make sure that you have enough bait on your line, but you want to make sure that it is the kind of bait that the fish will even want. Just keep in mind that the bait at the end of you line is what is going to hook that fish.
