Baja California Travel
This lens will show off some of the cool things to see and do in Baja California Mexico.
This beach is called Mermaid Beach and is very near a village called Cabo Pulmo near the tip of Baja California. Mermaid beach has some great snorkeling.
My travels in Baja California from 1974 to present
Baja California Travel and Vacation spots

Here is one of my favorite photos. I takes awhile to capture the bird looking right at you but is worth it. Give it a try next time you are around some pelicans.

Here are a couple of dancers.

Not everyone in Mexico is young like those two dancers. This guy has a few years behind him-about 80.

Even though this guy is 80 you better not mess with him!! He carries a big knife.

How about some Mexican ingenuity? Need to get the groceries from the lower level to ground level? Get a pick-up and some rope and make a train. This went well til the rope broke. The Mexican Two-Step here doesn't refer to running to the bathroom but run and get out of the way of the backsliding pallets. Fortunately nobody was hurt but boy did they have to scramble fast to get out of the way of the runaway pallets.

Some people start to look like their pets. Others start to look like their instruments!! Strolling Minstral in Cabo San Lucas.
Some great Baja Books
These are some of my favorite Baja Books.
Baja Adventure Book
This is probably my favorite book about Baja. Hundreds of photos and lots of descriptions of how to find the cool places in Baja. This is the book to get and take with you or to just read if you can't make it down to Baja. The author has a wonderful sense of humor.
Almost an Island: Travels in Baja California
I've read this book a couple of times and the author has great insite and wonderful stories to tell.
Baja California Plant Field Guide
Like identifying plants in the desert. This is the one to get. I have two copies. A first edition and another that I take into the field
Miraculous Air: Journey of a Thousand Miles Through Baja California, the Other Mexico
Another Baja book that I've read twice. The author lives in Mexico and has a real love for Baja and its people.

Thoroughly enjoyable lens, Craig. I hope you add more images. I bet you have some fun stories to tell about some of 'em too.
