The Cutest and Famous Mini Cupcakes Bites From Bakerella
This lens is dedicated to my favorite baker: Bakerella. She is the genius who came up with the idea of cupcake bites and cupcake pops. Her collection of cupcakes and different designs are amazing and unique. Her famous cupcake pops and bites were feature in the Martha Stewart Show, and many people around the States are hooked with Bakerella's cupcakes and bake goods. Check out her easy to follow recipe for her famous cupcake bites and pops.

Bakerella is the name, the mastermind behind the most delicious, cutest and adorable mini cupcake bites. It all started a year ago, when this lovely lady decides to take a cake decorating class, and discovers that her creativity was bigger than she thought. You could visit her blog, and check it out for yourself.
When I first came across the Bakerella's Blog, I couldn't resist myself and I try to recreate her cupcake bites. My daughter and I had a blast making them. They are so cute and so easy to make. I can't believe no one thought about it before!

Bakerella's cupcake bites and her other great creations are so famous that she was feature guest at the Martha Stewart Show, where she and Martha were making the cupcake bites in front of a live audience.

How To Make Cupcake Bites
Mini Cupcake Bite Recipe
Cupcake bites are very easy and fun to make. It can get a little messy, but the results are worth it. Ok, here is what I use to make my cupcake bites:First,
* Cake Mix (your favorite flavor)
* 13x9 cake mold
* 1 can of Cream Cheese frosting
* Chocolate Bark and White Chocolate bark
* Candy Melts (any color you like)
* sprinkles or M&M's
* Flower shaped cookie cutter (Bakerella suggests that you use the 1.25" wide X .75" tall).
Now, bake the cake as you would regularly do. And let it cool for awhile. After the cake is nice and cool, you will then crumble the cake into a fine consistency, and add the frosting to it. Mix the frosting with the cake until it's soft and moist. With your hands, roll the mixture into little balls and place them on a cookie sheet on wax paper.
Cover them with plastic paper in refrigerate for a couple of hours, until it's nice and firm.
Take them out of the fridge and with the cookie cutter press softly until making the shape of a cupcake.
Return again to the freezer for about 20 more minutes. Meanwhile, get your chocolate or white chocolate bark and melt them.
Take out of the freezer and get ready to dip!
First, dip the bottom part of the cupcake with chocolate, and place them up side down until they dry out.
Later, when they are dry, dip the upper side of the cupcake on the candy melts bowl. It could be white or pink or any color you choose.
* When still wet on top, sprinkler and put the M&M's.

Vanilla flavored compound chocolate (confectionery coating). Excellent for filling chocolate molds as it does not require tempering.

Note: Due to the nature of this product, the chocolate may melt during shipping. This does not ruin the chocolate; the chocolate is perfectly fine. Occasionally there may be light-colored streaks or film on the surface of the chocolate. This will disappear when the chocolate is re-melted.
