It all started in 2007 with the cartoon. Soon after the release of the anime series, the game and Bakugan Battle Brawlers toys were released. Anyone who owns a card and a Bakugan is called a Bakugan Brawler. The Bakugan is controlled through the metal cards. The Brawlers use their card(s) and Bakugan(s) to fight each other in battle. This is the basis of both the cartoon and the game.

Now, as for the Bakugan, they originate from a planet/univers called Vestroia. Because of Bakugan Naga they were all sent to earth, where they took on the form of a ball (which can only be opened with a metal card).

The anime series stars 7 kids; Dan, Shun, Runo, Marucho, Julie, Alice, and later Joe. They use their Bakugan to fight people who want to use their Bakugan for evil purposes.

The goal of the game is to win 3 game cards from the other player(s). It can be played by 2 or 4 players.

If you want to spend some quality time with your kids, learning how to play the bakugan battle brawlers board game is a great idea.
