Bakugan Characters do battle against others to defend the universe.

Dan is the leader of the Bakugan Brawlers. He's a twelve year old boy who is more street smart than book smart and is always looking for adventure.

Marucho studies the strategy and devises strategy based on in-depth data analysis but sometimes misjudges his spur-of-the-moment decisions based only on data.

Runo is a tomboy and loves playing Bakugan with the boys! She is a sore loser and her battling can be inconsistent and sometimes gets in the way of her team members.

Shun is a loner, a boy with few words, yet is willing to help his friends at every turn. He plays Bakugan battles like a Ninja warrior.

Julie may come off a bit scattered but she can compete with the best of the Bakugan Brawlers. She is the master of direct attacks and uses Earth attributes in battle.

Masquerade is a very mysterious character who has one goal to send all Bakugan to the Doom Dimension. He is a great Bakugan battle player and Dan's main rival. He wears a mask and no one knows his real identity. (Could be you!) Masquerade is so dangerous in Bakugan battle because he carries the doom card, this allows him to send the losing Bakugan to the Doom Dimension.
