Bakugan Arrives
The first fantasy board game I remember was Dungeons and Dragons. Many kids didn't admit it because they were thought of as nerds, but most played at one time or another. However Pokemon brought cool into the aspect of fantasy games along with Yugioh, Digimon and a slew of others. I believe the creation of TV shows to go along with the game really help this genre explood. The issue I had was the complexity of the games and the amount of variations there were.
Fast forward to 2006 and Bakugan arrives. It's a strategy game played with magnetic spring-loaded plastic "marbles" and magnetic trading cards. The goal is to roll your Bakugan onto the card in order to battle your opponent. The winner is the one with the most points. It's almost that simple! There is strategy and skill involved plus some luck. Watch some of the videos found on You Tube to get a better understand on how to brawl.
Bakugan - Hot or Cold
Bakugan is a simple game to play but hard to master. The rules are basic, but a players memory and ability to "land" a brawler on a trading card are the keys. We're not sure if Bakugan will catch on like Yugioh and Pokemon, but so far we're starting to see sales from our items on eBay. How to Play Bakugan
