Bakugan Battle Brawlers

Bakugan Battle Brawlers is a Japanese anime television series produced by TMS Entertainment and Japan Vistec under the direction of Mitsuo Hashimoto. The story centers on the lives of creatures called Bakugan and the battle brawlers who wield them. Consisting of fifty-one episodes, Bakugan Battle Brawlers debuted in Japan on TV Tokyo in 2007.

Nelvana Limited produced the English language version and premiered the series on the Canadian network Teletoon later the same year, but with 52 episodes. In February 2008, it was put on Cartoon Network, the consistent schedule now being Saturday morning at 11:00. In conjunction with the anime series,

Sega Toys and Spin Master released a strategic game, called Bakugan, using metal cards and magnetic spring-loaded miniature figures.

Universal Pictures and Stuber Prod. has partnered with Spin Master to produce a full length movie to hit the box office. An official announcement was released by the Hollywood Reporter:

"Japanese toy craze "Bakugan" headed to big screen. Universal Pictures is bringing the red-hot Japanese anime property "Bakugan Battle Brawlers" to the big screen.

A "Bakugan" series airs six days a week on the Cartoon Network, where it is one of the cable channel's top shows. It is also a strategic game that uses metal cards and magnetic, spring-loaded miniature figures that transform from marble-like balls into toy monsters.

The show's story line revolves around creatures called Bakugan and the young human battle brawlers who wield them. The creatures have such names as Pyrus Drago, Haos Tigrerra, Ventus Skyress, Subterra Gorem and Darkus Hydranoid that inform their character and power; they are involved in a battle in a parallel dimension called Vestroia that spills into ours.

No writers are on board, but the studio jumped at the chance to be in business with a toy that has a growing worldwide fan base. It also sparked to the concept and story line, which it believes will translate well into an all-ages action-adventure movie. The studio is partnered on the venture with "Role Models" producer Scott Stuber and toy company Spin Master.

Clear Bakugan: These translucent Bakugan allow the attribute to take form of their opponent's attribute. Players can choose what attribute is associated if both roll a Clear Bakugan!

The all new B2 Bigger BrawlersTM have pumped up the size of Bakugan from 28mm to 32mm and have more starting G-Power! With these new super Bakugan get ready for new strategies and even more intense battles.

Attention Bakugan Brawlers! There has been an official update to the gameplay rules of Bakugan.

Amended Rule: Resolving a Tied Match

In the event of a tie: The battle is won by the first Bakugan that stood on the Gate card.

Please disregard any rules that may say otherwise, including the official rulebook that is provided in Bakugan products. This amended rule clears up confusion that might have occurred and caused undue battles.
