Bakugan is a strategic game, called was developed by Sega Toys and Spin Master and released in conjunction with the anime series. The game uses metal cards and magnetic spring-loaded miniature figures, called Bakugan. The object of the game is to capture three of the opponent's gate cards or defeat all their Bakugans.

Bakugan is quickly becoming the latest hit in anime character battle games. It has been selling quickly in toy stores across the U.S. and Canada, and was named one of the top toys of 2008 by Time Magazine and Newsday.

Bakugan has both a cartoon show and a card game, with many accessories as well. The show airs on Cartoon Network and features the cards and marble characters who are portrayed as beings from another dimension.

Dan Kuso: The main character and he is a 12-year-old boy whose life revolves around Bakugan, and his greatest ambition is to become the number one ranked Bakugan player in the world. He uses fire attributes in battle. His Guardian Bakugan is the Pyrus-attribute Infinity Dragonoid.

Dan's life changed one day when random cards fell out of the sky. Some friends of his invented a game called Bakugan with those cards. Together with his friends Runo, Marucho, Julie, Shun, Alice and Joe the Bakugan Battle Brawlers are formed as they end up fighting for the fate of Vestroia against Masquerade, Hal-G, and the Bakugan Naga.

Runo Misaki: is a 12 yr old girl with a short temper and doesn't like to lose. Runo and Dan have a crush on each other, but neither will admit it. Her Bakugan is the Blade Tigrerra.

Choji "Marucho" Marokuro: is a 11-year-old boy who is caring, polite, and generous. His Guardian Bakugan are the Aquos-attribute Preyas and the Aquos-attribute Angelo Diablo Preyas.

Julie Makimoto: is a 12 year old girl and is always happy, and she is a bit of a ding bat. Her Guardian Bakugan is Subterra-attribute Hammer Gorem.

Shun Kazami: is a very cool 12 years old and at one time was the top ranked Bakugan player. He keeps to himself and is loyal to his friends. His Guardian Bakugan is the Ventus-attribute Storm Skyress.

Alice Gehabich is 13 years old and originally from Moscow. Alice secretly likes Shun Kazami, who likes someone else.

Alice's Guardian Bakugan changes during the series but is initially the Darkus-attribute Exdera; later in the series, she begins using the Darkus-attribute Delta Hydranoid instead.

Masquerade is a very mysterious character who has one goal; send all Bakugan to the Doom Dimension. A great Bakugan player and Dan's main rival, he wears a mask and no-one knows his true identity.

Darkus Hydranoid is Masquerade's Bakugan.

Michael, is an elderly researcher in his fifties and was the first to discover a portal between an alternate universe known as Vestroia and our world.

After teleporting himself to the other dimension, Michael was quickly sucked up by the evil force of the Silent Core and transformed into a megalomaniac scientist. After returning to earth as HAL-G, he immediately recruited Masquerade in an attempt to help him destroy all the Bakugan standing in his way

Bakugan is a game based off of the anime series Bakugan Battle Brawlers. The card game consists of spring-loaded marbles that are used to score by rolling on magnetic cards which causes them to spring open.

1. The strongest point when playing Bakugan is 660 G points.

2. For two players each player puts down two cards. For 4 players each will put down 1 card farthest from them. Then the youngest player goes first in a clockwise motion. The players will then put down 2 more cards on the corner of the card in front of you, this is your shot spot. To shoot you can shoot it like a marble, or put it on the floor, and hold in your thumb and middle finger or you can use the Bakugan launcher.

3. The first player will shoot the bakugan, if it stands on the card and stays on it your bakugan stays on the card. If you miss you get the bakugan back and you can put down a card if you want. If it stands you can also put down a card. If your bakugan and another players bakugan land on the same card you go into battle. Flip the card over and you see 6 numbers. This is how you make the gate card open. Match the color of the bakugan with the color on the card. Add the numbers to your bakugan's G points which is either inside your bakugan our outside. If your bakugan's G power is the strongest, you get the card and the bakugan. You can have as many bakugans and cards as you want in a battle, however, the minimum is three.

4. If the bakugans have the same G points you take the bakugan off the card and each shoot again. If only one lands on it they get the card and bakugan. If you knock a bakugan off a card its a automatic knock out, or win.

5. Play until all the cards or bakugans are gone. At the bottom of the card there are HSP (holo sector points.) Add all of your cards holo sector points and your remaining bakugans and captured bakugans are worth 100 points and if you have more points you win.

The Robotallian serves and protects its allies. Fierce claws and gigantic blades located within their bodies are capable of slicing cleanly through any substance. They move at high speeds and are extremely difficult to view with the human eye. The Robotallian places great value on their sense of duty and protection, and will let nothing get in the way of fufilling those responsibilities.

The Serpenoid squeezes the life out of its enemies. This Bakugan's attack is extremely fast but the suffering it inflicts is slow and methodical. Their power grows as the life of their enemies is slowly sucked away, leaving them with nothing. The Serpenoid slithers low to the ground but is quick to rise up and Battle other Bakugans.

The Dragonoid is designed to seek and destroy. Equipped with high intelligence, they are limited in Battle mobility but compensate for through powerful strikes. Dragonoids will also fire high-speed oscillating, electromagnetic waves from their venomous mouths, annihilating anyone who gets in their way.

The Falconeer targets its prey from high above. This Bakugan is a bird beast with extreme clairvoyance that is capable of seeing through things regardless of distance and coverage. Most importantly, this special Bakugan can resurrect itself and right any wrongs it may have experienced. Defeating it once is simply not enough.

The Fear Ripper is swift and deadly with its giant blades, performing its dirty work undercover. They are chameleons, capable of changing into fire, earth, light, water or wind. A complicated Bakugan that never reveals its true identity, the Fear Ripper Class are oddly shy, however, still charming and funny.

The Juggernoid possesses the most natural destructive force of any Bakugan. Inflicting even the smallest amount of damage to these heavily armoured, walking fortresses has proven to be a task most difficult for any Brawler. Their armor has no visible weaknesses to exploit during Battle, and the force with which they hammer opponents sends shockwaves throughout the Bakugan Universe.

The Reaper is no stranger to vengeance. In fact, they take great pride in unleashing a powerful fury on their helpless targets. Filled deep inside with a type of rage unlike any experienced on earth, Reapers will methodically plan their revenge. When an opportune time arises, they will deliver striking blow after striking blow until nothing is left except for a wicked sense of satisfaction.

The Saurus are tough, hardcore Brawlers. Dismissing strategy and camouflage as excess baggage in Battle, they attack their opponents head on and leave little to the imagination. Nothing makes the Saurus happier than to see their victims actually believe they stood a chance prior to the Brawl. It is only after all hope has been erased with a hammer of pain that the Saurus is satisfied to continue on their way.
