#2 Damon Wayans

(born September 4, 1960) is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and actor.

#2 Damon Wayans

The bald My Wife and Kids star cracks everyone up:

Damon Wayans Wiki Facts:

Earliest film appearance was a brief cameo as an effeminate hotel employee in the 1984 Eddie Murphy film Beverly Hills Cop. He was briefly on Saturday Night Live as a featured performer, before getting fired for playing his character as a flamboyant gay cop instead of a straight cop. In the SNL book Live From New York, it was stated that Wayans did this largely due to growing frustrations that his sketches were not being considered for the show and increasing stress.

He also appeared in the syndicated TV series Solid Gold during the 1980s as a stand-up comedian. After that, he went on to do the TV-show In Living Color from 1990 to 1992, part of a team that was nominated for Emmy Awards all three years.

After In Living Color, he starred in films such as The Last Boy Scout, Major Payne and The Great White Hype and wrote and starred in the film Blankman.

In 1996, he produced Waynehead, a cartoon for the WB, loosely based on his own childhood growing up in a large family, starring a poor boy with a club foot. The show only lasted a season due to poor ratings. From 1997 to 1998, he was the executive producer of 413 Hope St., a short-lived drama on the FOX network starring Richard Roundtree and Jesse L. Martin.

In 1998, he starred in a short-lived comedy titled Damon, in which he played a Chicago detective. It aired on FOX. In 1999, his New York Times bestselling book Bootleg with co-author David Asbery was published; it is a humorous compilation of his observations about family, children, marriage, and politics.

From 2001 until 2005, Wayans starred in the ABC sitcom My Wife and Kids. Through My Wife and Kids, Damon Wayans became a household name throughout the US. His character, Michael Kyle, is a father of three and the show is famous for his sarcastic form of comedy.

In 2005, Damon Wayans was in a celebrity ad campaign for Hanes.

In 2006, he began starring in The Underground, a sketch comedy series on Showtime. His son, Damon, Jr. also stars on the show.

#5 Larry David

(born July 2, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York) is an Emmy-winning actor, writer, comedian, producer and film director.

#5 Larry David

The bald Larry David produced Seinfeld...and much more:

Larry David Wiki Facts:

David was co-creator, head writer and executive producer for the television series Seinfeld. He also created and stars in the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm, in which he plays a fictionalized version of himself.

David, a former standup comedian, was a writer and cast member for ABC's Fridays from 1980 to 1982, and a writer for NBC's Saturday Night Live from 1984 to 1985. During his time at SNL, David only managed to get one of his sketches on the show - the last sketch of the night where the weaker sketches are usually scheduled.

David quit his writing job at SNL mid-season, only to show up to work a few days later to act as though nothing had happened. This inspired a season two episode of Seinfeld entitled "The Revenge". David met his future Seinfeld stars during this early stage of his career: he worked with Michael Richards (Kramer) on Fridays and with Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Elaine) during his one-year stint on SNL. David can be heard heckling Michael McKean when McKean hosted the show in 1984.

David also can be seen in the sketch, "The Run, Throw and Catch Like a Girl Olympics" when Howard Cosell hosted the season finale in 1985.

Larry David Interview:

#6 Steven Wright

(born December 6, 1955) is an Academy Award-winning American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer from Burlington, Massachusetts.

#6 Steven Wright

The balding Wright is hilarious:

Steven Wright Wiki Facts:

Wright is known for his slow, deadpan, monotone delivery of ironic, witty, deeply philosophical and sometimes confusing jokes and one-liners with overly contrived situations.

Wright's 1985 comedy album entitled I Have a Pony, released on Warner Bros. Records, received critical acclaim and was nominated for a Grammy Award. In 1989, he won an Academy Award for his short film, The Appointments of Dennis Jennings. In 1992, Wright had a recurring role on the television sitcom Mad About You. He also supplied the voice of the radio DJ in the film Reservoir Dogs.

After his 1990 comedy special Wicker Chairs and Gravity, Wright continued to do live stand-up performances, but was largely absent from television, only doing occasional guest spots on late night talk shows. In 2006, Wright noticed that much of his audience in recent years was getting older and wanted to reach out to a generation that only knew him from films like Half Baked. He produced his first stand-up special in 16 years, Steven Wright: When the Leaves Blow Away, originally aired on Comedy Central on October 21st, 2006 and again a day after its DVD release date, Wednesday, April 24.

On September 25, 2007, Wright released a follow-up to I Have a Pony, titled I Still Have a Pony (a CD release of the material from When the Leaves Blow Away).

In a 2005 poll to find The Comedian's Comedian, he was voted amongst the top 50 comedy acts ever by fellow comedians and comedy insiders. He was named #23 on Comedy Central's list of the 100 greatest standups of all time.

Brian Posehn Wiki Facts:

Brian Posehn is known for his roles as mail clerk Kevin Liotta on NBC's Just Shoot Me!, as a cast member of HBO's Mr. Show, and as Brian Spukowski on Comedy Central's The Sarah Silverman Program.

Posehn has had mainly small roles in TV shows, including the voice of Jim in Mission Hill and Del Swanson in 3 South. Brian's character was to "act out" how a surgeon left a sponge in him, to a cast of medical students.

#8 Dave Chappelle

(born August 24, 1973) is an American stand-up comedian, satirist, screenwriter, television/film producer and actor.

#8 Dave Chappelle

Chappelle is an outrageous bald comedian:

Dave Chappelle Wiki Facts:

In 2003, Chappelle debuted his own weekly sketch comedy show on Comedy Central called Chappelle's Show. The show parodied many aspects of American culture including racial stereotypes, politics and pop culture. Along with comedy skits, the show also featured musical performances by mostly hip-hop and soul artists. Chappelle's pointed social and political commentary quickly helped the show garner critical and commercial success as well as controversy.

Richard Pryor, one of Chappelle's comedic influences, was a fan of the show and stated that he had "passed the torch" to Chappelle. He received two Emmy nominations for the show.

Additionally, the DVD set, Chappelle's Show Season One Uncensored!, became the best-selling DVD of a television show to date, overtaking the previous best-selling, The Simpsons first season DVD. It had sold over 3 million copies.

Due to the show's popularity, Comedy Central's parent company Viacom reportedly offered Chappelle a $55 million contract (giving Chappelle a share of DVD sales) to continue production of Chappelle's Show for two more years while allowing him to do side projects. Chappelle had stated that sketches are not his favorite form of comedy, and that the characteristics of the show's format were somewhat like short films.

#9 Paul Mooney

(born February 23, 1940) is an American comedian, writer, television and film actor.

#9 Paul Mooney

Bald funny man Paul Mooney is hilarious:

Paul Mooney Wiki Facts:

Paul Mooney initially appeared in the sketches Ask a Black Dude and Mooney on Movies on Comedy Central's Chappelle's Show, which he later replaced with Negrodamus, the African American version of Nostradamus. As Negrodamus, Mooney ad-libbed the "answers to life's most unsolvable mysteries" such as "Why do white people love Wayne Brady?" (Answer: "Because Wayne Brady makes Bryant Gumbel look like Malcolm X.") Mooney was planning to reprise his role as Negrodamus in the third season of the Chappelle's Show, before its abrupt hiatus.

In 2006, Paul Mooney hosted the BET tribute to Black History Month titled 25 Most @#%! Moments in Black History. In this show, he narrated some of the most shameful incidents involving African Americans since 1980. The top 25 moments included incidents involving Marion Barry, Terrell Owens, Wilson Goode, Michael Jackson, Flavor Flav, Whitney Houston, and Tupac Shakur amongst others.

On November 26, 2006, Mooney appeared on CNN and talked about how he would stop using "the n-word", due to Michael Richards' outbursts on stage at The Laugh Factory. He referred to Richards as having become "his Dr. Phil" and "cured" him of the use of the epithet.
