Bali Getaway

The wonderful Bali Getaway takes us to my favorite Bali resort Amanusa. Amanusa sits on a garden hillside in southern Bali. Just beyond, the Bali Golf and Country Club stretches towards the Indian Ocean, while close by are the bougainvillea-shaded streets of Nusa Dua, lined with roadside shops and resorts. The international airport in Denpasar, the island's capital, is a 20-minute drive from the resort. Guests stay in 35 thatched-roof suites where the four-poster beds are draped in white muslin, the cavernous bathrooms are graced with sunken tubs and the color schemes are a soothing blend of brown, beige, cream and honey. There's plenty of alfresco living space, all of the walled courtyards perfect for private tanning and dining, some of them even graced with their own pools.

Amanusa provided a calm and tranquil environment. Me and my wife enjoyed the the private pool, the pool by the Italian restaurant, eating the wonderful on the terrace, and spending a relaxing day at the Amanusa beach resort.

Staying in Amanusa was a wonderful and unforgettable experience for me and my wife. This is a definite repeat sometime in the near future.
