Recipe: Banana sour cream cake
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 stick unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
2-3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup chocolate chips(optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
In a seperate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).

Slowly add in the dry ingredients and mix well (but don't overmix!). Fold in the chocolate chips, if desired.

Allow the cake to cool for at least 30 minutes before flipping it onto a serving plate.

A great pan makes all the difference
Our tip: Use a nonstick bundt pan
There's nothing worse than working hard on a cake and having it stick and not come out. How can you slice and serve that mess? A major trick to our sour cream banana cake is using an awesome nonstick bundt pan. Not only does the finished cake come out easily, but the pan is a breeze to clean. And a good bundt pan will last decades, as our family's has.
