Eric is Bananaman! Ever alert for the call to action!

"This is 29 Acacia Road. And this is Eric, the schoolboy who leads an amazing double life. For when Eric eats a banana, an amazing transformation occurs. Eric is Bananaman. Ever alert for the call to action!"

Bananaman is a great TV show that was made in the early 1980s. The voices for the characters were mostly performed by Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie, who are probably best known as The Goodies.

I used to love watching this show as a kid, and have been reliving some great memories as I gather video, links and information for this Squidoo lens. As a bonus, I have just made an awesome discovery. The DVD set of Bananaman is now available! See below for a link to the Amazon page where you can get the three disk set of 40 episodes!

Of course you'll need to be kept entertained until your copy is delivered, so you can check out a few episodes right here. A huge thanks to YouTube user RitchieI for uploading episodes of Bananaman for us all to enjoy!

It's great to see that there are still so many fans of Bananaman out there!

I started building this Squidoo lens to relive a bit of the fun from my childhood. Little did I realise the extent of Bananaman fandom still alive today!

Here is a list of links to other sites celebrating the joys of Bananaman!

I never saw Bananaman, don't know how I missed it, but I loved The Goodies, and also I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again and I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue on the radio (also the same crew pretty much). Very nice lens, 5*****
