Relationship, Trust, Jealousy & Possessiveness Counselling

Relationships and trust go hand-in-hand. Breaking that trust can lead to separation, break-up and even divorce. This brings emotional turmoil and distress. The way that we manage these distressing times is dependent upon our own "emotional intelligence", that is, how we let it affect us and how we deal with it. Jealousy and possessiveness are issues that can break any relationship no matter how much trust your partner may have.

Emotional Intelligence is a thread that runs through the various personal development therapies that we practise at The Paloma centre here in Banbury. Understanding ourselves and managing our emotions is a prerequisite for successfully managing our relationships with others. Having insight into our own unconscious motivations that direct our conscious behaviour can only make us better partners, parents and friends.

Improving relationships, overcoming jealousy, learning to trust others are just some of the ways in which your life can be improved.

Through the practise of techniques arising from CBT, NLP, EFT, Counselling and Life Coaching within a wider psychotherapeutic strategy we seek to bring the best out in you to help you achieve whatever your objectives may be.

Keeping abreast of developments in therapy we have added a further range of Meridian Energy Therapies to the Practice.

I was taught a long time ago that trust is the result of a tested relationship. That fact has never let me down. I base my relationships on that fact.

So nice to see that you offer discounted services for ex service men and women, in particular EFT. Rebuilding trust in any relationship is very hard and there is nothing wrong with seeking outside help . . in fact, it lessens the burden for those who suffer from it tremendously. Wonderful work here, thank you for sharing (and keeping you in mind). Rose

I believe trust is the key to all good relationships. I have been very blessed with a trustworthy husband, but I know many who have not. You never know when I might just send them your way.

It's probably the insecurity people have about themselves that is the basis of so much violence against them in many cases. The confusion can then lead to violence against others, particularly children. Counselling can certainly help. Nice lens.

Its nice to come across your lens on Squidoo. I like seeing lenses that could make an impact on a persons life. I believe that therapy is necessary sometimes in order to get beyond certain types of pain and traumatic events.
