- We stayed at H-Sukhumivt for a few days. Compared to other hostels we've been in around SE Asia I have to say it's one of the better ones. Cleaner than average rooms with a little bit of amenity that went a long way. It's a great hotel, should check it out if you need a cheap, clean and safe place to stay.

- HQ Hostel is great, just stayed there for 3 nights. It's a really good location and I'd like to recommend them too. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

- I booked the Shambara here for a 3 day stay. As a senior citizen, my wife and I really enjoyed the quiet area yet close to Kao San road for good places to eat and enjoy the scene. People at Shambara were kind and we didn't feel like we were in a budget hostel more like a hotel with really good price and friendly smiles.

- Stayed at Lub d for 4 nights last week and now we're in Phuket. Lub was a cool hotel in silom. The area is quiet but within a 10 minute walk you can get to Patpong. A 10 minute walk the other way and you're near the river. Plus the train is also another 5 minute walk. OVerall Lub d is still convienent and we'll definitley come back again.

- Yeah I like Hi 5 too. I booked a week there after reading the reviews. It was a little pricier for then what we wanted to spend, but the location can't be beat.

- Personally I like Hi 5 Sukhumvit for location especially, it's in a popular area with some excellent restaurants and clubs. People working here are friendly too and it's a great hostel atmosphere with travelers from all over, young and old.
