I stayed at this hotel the first time it opened around 2008. This time I had a chance to come back to Majestic Grande and I was curious if it is as good as it was the last time. The answer is yes! Only thing is I remeber I paid around 2000THB. However, the price for this hotel at 2900THb is still worth it. My deluxe room is great though I rememeber the last deluxe room was a little bigger. Or maybe my memory is getting bad lolo! This is a good hotel guys, two thumbs up from me!

Truly a spectacular hotel. Have no complaints. Only wish I could stay in Bangok longer. I'll be sure to come back and check your reviews when I visit Thailand again. Cheers!

I had a real blast in Bangkok. And the majestic grande made my trip even better. Thank you for showing me where to get discounts for the hotel. I owe you one!
  • Dennis Roth May 13, 2012 @ 9:01 pm | delete
Great recommendation! I had a great time in the go go bars and the beer bars that are so close to the hotel. The room I booked was the grande deluxe and it was super comfortable and just my style. The hotel people were great too. Just a reminder, if you want to bring a bar girl to your room they security will require your lady to leave her I.D. card with them.

Thank you for review. Was going around looking for a place to stay near bangkok nightlife. And your information is way more informative the tripadvisor. And I found that the rates you offer on your website for Majestic is a lot better than booking from the hotel's web reservation.
  • ali from kuwait Feb 29, 2012 @ 12:52 pm | delete
friendly staff very easy to communicate with. and this hotel i can say 6 star not 4 star because of the friendly staff and the clean of the hotel and the room and the resturant .

i will go to bangkok next april 2012 and i will stay in the same hotel MG HOTEL.
  • Oscar Perez Feb 28, 2012 @ 2:01 am | delete
Great rooms at this hotel and even greater service. My fifth stay at the MG and every time I have the best stay in Bangkok. Stick with the Majestic Deluxe rooms because it's big enough and very comfortable. And I agree like the rest the breakfast at the hotel is tops with really delicious foods.

Bangkok is a very good place for holidays.

Such a classy hotel with attractive rates. I have to be honest I was a bit skeptical when I booked here because after reading so many positive reviews and none were negative. So I've check other places and it is true Majestsic Grande is a worthy hotel in Bangkok to spend your money and time.
  • Dexter Nov 21, 2011 @ 2:29 am | delete
This was great place to stay. My first time in Bangkok and Majestic Grande Hotel helped make my stay more enjoyable. The go go bars across the street helped a lot too =)
  • Samoa Juan Nov 8, 2011 @ 3:31 am | delete
When I first arrived by taxi the building looked small but it's tall and wide. And yes indeed Majestic Grande looked like a professional business hotel but the rates are affordable thanks to the free night offer. Like the rest here I stayed at a Deluxe Grande room which was nice, big and comfortable. I'm a fitness freak and I was really disappointed with the so called 'fitness center'. The pool was tiny and was only good for soaking and not laps. That's rally the only negatives about this hotel. The location is the best, just a short skip to a massage parlor and plenty of beer bars and go go bars.
  • Lenster P. Oct 18, 2011 @ 4:46 am | delete
I stayed at the Majestic G for a few nights late September and yes indeed its a very nice hotel with great rooms. An overall awesome value, but what's up with all the Arab guests!!!
  • Mick Gezler Oct 6, 2011 @ 9:52 pm | delete
Great deal! Awesome hotel. Yeah the rooms are kind of small to me, but it's because the furniture is so big because of the huge comfortable bed. I like anyways, its a good hotel full of friendly service and the location is prime spot for single guys. And like of the other commenters I also like the breakfast. And here's a tip, don't bother buying dinner at the hotel even if the menu looks delicious. Because in the morning the hotel will serve it as a buffet so that it does not go to waste. Since I booked here the breakfast was free, great deal and a can't lose if you stay here hotel!
  • Matt Bannon Sep 29, 2011 @ 4:53 am | delete
I've been following your reviews while planning on my first visit ever to Bangkok. I've stayed in a few other hotels you've recommended here but I always come back to Majestic Grande, especially since they now have that stay 4 nights pay 3 deal. MG is a really good professional hotel with high quality service. But just a word of caution don't bother taking the hotel limo to the airport. It's a rip off. Just go for a regular taxi instead off of the streets.
  • Penman Sep 1, 2011 @ 2:32 pm | delete
Really good hotel in Bangkok's center. And thanks for letting me know about the stay 4 nights pay for 3 special! Cheers!
  • Mark Key Aug 26, 2011 @ 8:54 am | delete
Very nice 4 star hotel in a safe neighborhood. Staff is very professional and rooms are big, comfortable and satisfying. Booked a superior deluxe and found the room very new and modern. Had a great time here, thanks for the recommend.
  • Tony W. Aug 9, 2011 @ 11:36 am | delete
I also enjoyed my stay at Majestic Grande. Normally I never leave comments on websites but I really felt that I had to in this case. This is my first trip to Bangkok and I really had no clue about where to stay. Well when I first entered the doors of this hotel I couldn't believe it was so modern and clean. My room which was a grande deluxe was big with modern touches. The bed was super comfortable as well. There are many things to do for single guys near the hotel if you know what I mean because there is a small go go bar building just a few minutes away. Stay here, you won't regret it. Also thanks for showing me where to get the rates for Majestic Grande.
  • Jones Aug 5, 2011 @ 2:16 pm | delete
A couple of buds and I stayed at Majestic Grande for a few nights. I wish the price was lower but I do have to admit the quality of the hotel is really high and would probably cost twice back in the states. The huge free breakfast in the morning alone was enough to come stay at this hotel.
  • Lou K. Jul 20, 2011 @ 7:55 am | delete
Great hotel! Thanks for informing me about the stay 4 nights pay for 3 deal, it's really worth it!
  • Matt Gordon Jul 8, 2011 @ 2:03 pm | delete
Majesitc Grand is the best hotel in Nana with very affordable rates. I always select the grande deluxe room because the room is big and so modern. The only real negative is the sorry excuse for a swimming pool and fitness center. But the major plus at this hotel is the huge breakfast buffet spread and Nana go go bars across from the hotel doors.
  • Evan Roe Jun 23, 2011 @ 12:00 pm | delete
MG allowed me to invite ladies back to my hotel room, no question asked. I recommend this hotel for guys who want very modern clean rooms and like to party with bar girls.
  • phuketbooknow Jun 16, 2011 @ 10:56 pm | delete
Beautiful Lense, my dear squidoo friend! Keep up the good work! Chack out my Phuket lenses when you have time.

This is 4th visit to Bangkok and stay at Majestic Grande and so far it's only good experiences here. This is my first time in the grande deluxe room which is the standard rooms here. And though the room is a bit smaller I'm still happy because of the quality, style and comforts of room. Majestic Grande is tops and I recommend to all.
  • Kim Lee Ho May 11, 2011 @ 2:21 pm | delete
Simply one of the best 4 star hotels in the center of busy Bangkok. This hotel is in a major nightlife section in Bangkok with go go bars just minutes walk away. Though near the hotel is actually quiet itself. I really enjoyed the whole 4 nights I stayed at Majest Grande. I highly recommend them too and thanks for providing the best hotel rates.
  • Alan Harper Apr 27, 2011 @ 9:50 am | delete
Had a good time at Majestics, so no complaints. Off to Pattaya now so when I get back I'm planning to stay again there for another week. The rates here are good and worth it.
  • Evan Pascalo Apr 21, 2011 @ 7:44 am | delete
Terrific hotel, I have nothing bad to say about Majestic Grande. This hotel made my first holiday in Bangkok so enjoyable. I heard that 4 star hotels in Bangkok are not expensive and I was skeptical. I'm glad I came across this website or else I would have never known where to stay. Oh, by the way I stayed in a Grande Deluxe room and I'm booking a room again at Majestic. The Deluxe rooms have huge beds and televisions. Its very clean and so modern.
  • Stewart Landy Apr 11, 2011 @ 3:08 pm | delete
Majestic is a fantastic hotel. Book your hotel here because the rates are very good for a 4 star hotel in Bangkok.
  • Kenny Pintaro Mar 31, 2011 @ 8:32 am | delete
I agree with all the reviews here, this is one incredible hotel for such an affordable price. Compared to the USA I'd be paying twice as much for the high quality and standards. Breakfast spread in the morning was amazing too with so many great choices, fresh baked breads and eggs made to order with huge amounts of bacon.
  • Arnold Shaw Mar 18, 2011 @ 10:42 am | delete
Majestic is one fantastic hotel in Bangkok's red light districts. The quality is very high and the location is excellent for visiting the local attractions and especially the shopping. A group of friends and I stayed here for a week and with the Sky Train so near by we could easily sight see the city quickly. And at night the beer bars and go go bars are so close we could stumble back to our hotel drunk in a few minutes. I love this hotel for their standard rooms which are new with modern tvs and big bathrooms that have a separate shower and bath tub. The swimming pool and gym is so small though.
  • Marc Litman Mar 6, 2011 @ 7:58 am | delete
Amazing hotels and service. Thank you for the recommendation advising me the longer I stay the more I save. I was going to divide my 7 nights between Majestic Grande and President Palace. I'm glad I chose Majestic!
  • Micheal Liam Feb 21, 2011 @ 10:28 pm | delete
I booked a grande superior room for 3 nights and if I had known MG is so high class I would've booked my full stay here. Instead the majority of the time I stayed in Conrad Hotel. Conrad is close to a 5 star hotel while MG is around 3 to 4 star. But you wouldn't know the difference since my room was decent sized with huge bed and television. But the bottom line is MG is in a way better location because it is a stones throw away from go go bars. Thanks for answering my emails and recommending MG, I should've listened to your advice. And thanks for showing me where to get the best rates for this hotel.
  • G. Driver Jan 27, 2011 @ 4:30 am | delete
A well deserved #1 on your list, Majestic Grande is a high quality hotel and very affordable. I think if this hotel was in New York it would easily cost $300 USD a night, no breakfast, and I'm only spending a little under a $100 per night with a huge breakfast spread! I paid for a superior room and it's a bit tight mainly because room's furniture is huge and possibly because I'm a fat guy. Either way I'm a happy staying here. Oh they also allow you to bring ladies to your room without asking for extra money. Right across the street is a go go bar building, highly recommended.
  • Paulo Jan 19, 2011 @ 8:31 pm | delete
Say man, you are so right about this hotel, good informatino and thanks many for recommendacion.

I'm writing this review in my superior room at the Majestic Grande. My wife and I decided to stay here after reading so many recommendations here on your website. We both would like to thank you for the most excellent advice. We are on our retirement and want to live it up while traveling in Asia without spending too much money on hotels. This is a grand hotel and we thank you with all our hearts for recommending! Cheers!

I agree with the reviews here on Majestic Grande, a really classy hotel with great rates. This is the place to be for single guys who want a really clean hotel with modern furnishings. I've been to several hotels in the same price range in Bangkok and MG is a real value.
  • Keith Stevlin Jan 6, 2011 @ 2:12 am | delete
This is a fantastic hotel in Bangkok. I've stayed in several and M.G. is so worth the money. The room has in touch control so you won't have to get out of bed. And the bed is super soft and room is clean. Big bathrooms too with separate shower stall and bath tub. Choose a room on the high floor the view is worth it!
  • W. Mcgee Dec 30, 2010 @ 4:24 am | delete
This is my first visit to Bangkok and I'm staying here right now. I have to say I am so surprised at the grand styel of this hotel. It's so clean and my room is like new, hard to believe this hotel is more than a few years old. Oh and the ladies in the reception are beautiful! Thank you very much for the recomendetion!
  • Ben Vincenzo Dec 28, 2010 @ 7:24 pm | delete
Really great hotel with spacious rooms and modern facilities, just like brand new. Bathrooms was big too with separate shower and bathtub. TV had plenty of channels and the there is in room control right by the bedside. Though the swimming pool is tiny and so is the gym. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the free breakfast every morning. Besides the usual breakfast stuff they have Thai and international food too. The Majestic is really close to many bars and especially go go bars. My girlfriend felt safe to walk around the area so it's not that bad.
  • Bobby F. Dec 7, 2010 @ 8:40 am | delete
What a great hotel, friendly service and excellent rooms. I booked a grand deluxe room for 5 days and couldn't believe the quality of the room. Very modern and fresh. The pool is small for swimming though and the fitness center is tiny. But I was really staying in Majestic Grande because it is close to Nana red light district. I highly recommend this hotel!
  • Neil Jordan Nov 19, 2010 @ 7:51 am | delete
Very good recommendation! My Deluxe room was very well furnished, big bed, big tele and a good view of city. Majestic Grande is an ideal hotel for any single guys who want to have fun in the city's red light districts.
  • Hadley Aames Oct 11, 2010 @ 7:32 am | delete
This is a very grande hotel indeed. We were looking for a high class hotel at an affordable price and Majestic Grande is that and more. I stayed in a grande deluxe room which was quite big and very clean with new furniture. The breakfast in the morning was a really good mix of international and Thai. They even had a cook make fresh omelets to order. I recommend this hotel too!

This really is an excellent hotel. Majestic should really be receiving a lot of attention from big name magazines as one of the most affordable high quality hotels in Asia. Glad I came across your review!
  • Kevin P. Sep 3, 2010 @ 6:42 pm | delete
I enjoyed my 1 week stay at Majestic and will be sure to come back! Thanks again for offering such discounted room price, you saved me some cash which I happily put towards by nightlife entertainment budget.

After traveling to Bangkok for 3 years and staying in the JW Marriott and Landmark hotels I decided to stay at the Majestic Grande. I must say that this hotel is a very high quality hotel service that rivals the big name hotels. Just to think after all this time I couldve been saving money here. I booked a deluxe grande room, it's big, bathroom has a shower and separate bath tub. This will be my go to hotel from now on in Bangkok. Thank you so much for the recommendation.
  • Roy Stanton Aug 16, 2010 @ 5:27 am | delete
This is my first time in Bangkok and I really did not know where to stay. Through recommendations from others I came upon your website. I have to give you a hearty thanks for the info as well as the best room rates for this hotel.

Whenever I come back to Bangkok I will be sure to use your invaluable services again.
  • Tara K. Aug 14, 2010 @ 7:44 am | delete
Great hotel! Me and my was were completely satisfied with service and quality of Majestic Grande. Even though the hotel is next to many girlie bars it is still a great place for first time visitors exploring Bangkok. Thanks for providing the best room rates as usual and you offer the best advice!
  • Mark Wong Jul 23, 2010 @ 7:35 am | delete
Thank you for recommending Majestic and your hotel reservation service is very good as usual! I've checked around and you do offer the best room rates. This was my first visit to Bangkok and I was glad to follow your recommendations. This hotel is very high quality and the best thing of all it is near the Nana places for nightlife. Majestic is also close to train station so very easy to go anywhere else. This will be the only hotel I stay so far in Bangkok in the future!
  • John Helgard Jul 2, 2010 @ 10:08 pm | delete
Extremely satisfied with the high quality room and super friendly service staff. I booked here for 6 nights last week and wept when I ahd to leave. I stayed in a grande deluxe room on the 12th floor and even though the view wasn't great I was happy to find a huge bed with comfy mattress and very nice sized bathroom. And even though flat screen tvs are the norm a nice huge 32" television was a real welcome in the daytime. Night time I always head to Nana for go go bar fun and drinking. Great place!
  • Kamal O. May 31, 2010 @ 9:10 pm | delete
Excellent hotel, staff and of course the location can't be beat. Had a great time and can't wait to come back.

Totally agree about everything! I booked here and this is my first night here. There's a soapy massage parlor just right across the street and I'm heading over there in about an hour. Even though Majestic is near a red light district this hotel is classed up and very high quality.

Since this is my first trip I was afraid this area is bad, since it's near a red light district. I was happy to find out that it's in a commercial/shopping district with so many western restaurants (no offense I don't like asian food) and I was happy to hear that they have western style breakfast. Just like to thank you for your helpful information and assitance in reserving this hotel! Have a Happy New Year, I know I will!
  • D. Speltz Dec 26, 2009 @ 8:20 pm | delete
Super hotel with very high quality rooms and friendliest service. Yes and very close to red light district with many go go bars and ladies outside on Soi 4. Really good choice for single men looking for fun.
  • Kira Tom Nov 26, 2009 @ 7:10 am | delete
Really nice hotel to stay in with modern amenties and gut busting breakfast buffet. A few of us booked deluxe rooms and found it so clean but a bit small. Big comfortable beds made us feel like we were sleeping on a cloud. We loved the location. It's close to red light go go bars safe for girls to wander around, in my opinion. Hotel workers are very nice here and kind.
  • Alan Ross Nov 10, 2009 @ 1:14 am | delete
Came across your recommendation for this hotel. Was well worth the money and I'll definitely come back next year. Thanks again for taking the time to answer my emails, you're a good guy.

Excellent hotel near a massage parlor and go go bars, all just a short 3 minute walk. I booked a grande deluxe for 5 days and am very satisfied with the rooms quality. The swimming pool at this hotel is very small and only good to soak in. Breakfast is the best with so many different varieties. I truely recommend this hotel too and I can't believe it's so affordable. Thanks for making my first trip to Bangkok unforgettable!
  • Dean Shulman Sep 12, 2009 @ 10:34 pm | delete
Best deal in Bangkok. My deluxe grande room was worth every bit I paid. At first I booked 3 nights because I was curious to see how good this hotel really is. Next time I'll book more days when I come back. My favorite place Nana Plaza is just 2 minutes away.
  • Sammy Artman Sep 4, 2009 @ 7:49 am | delete
For my first time visit to Bangkok the Majestic Grande has exceeded my expectations. I booked a deluxe room that was decent in size and the bed is huge and comfortable. Breakfast was not just your normal fare, there were also items that were from dinner which I'm assuming was from previous night. However it was still delicious. This is a hotel I'll be back next time around. Also they do not charge me money for taking a guest back to my room. A major plus!
  • Frank H. Aug 5, 2009 @ 12:51 pm | delete
Hey Ed, thanks for this great recommendation. When I saw this hotel has a stay 3 nights pay for 2 deal on your reservation website I jumped at the chance to stay here. It's a really nice hotel but too bad I couldn't stay too long. Hopefully they'll keep this deal next time I come back.

Hi, normally people who leave comments here may not visit this website for awhile. My names Ed and I'm a contributor here to this website. To answer your questions, yes Majestic Suite is a really nice hotel, very close to Nana Entertainment Plaza, less than a 5 minute walk. There are also many bars along Sukhumvit Soi 4 to explore and have fun. Finally, yes this hotel does have a guest friendly policy. But whoever you bring back must leave a I.D. card with security. Good Luck and have fun!

Hello......I noticed that you were there not too long ago......i am planning on staying at this hotel. Can you please tell me how close you were to the nightlife? I want to be in the middle of the clubbing district. Would you say this hotel is? Also, is this hotel guest-friendly?

    Thanks

Had a great time at this hotel and took advantage of the free nights. I had some money to splurge so I decided to stay at Majestic Grand. Normally I stay at cheaper hotels. I'm really glad I read your recommendation because this hotel is really worth every cent I paid.

I had a pleasant stay here for 3 nights in May. I stayed in a grande room and was very happy with the clean room and modern style. Majestic Grand hotel in Bangkok is worth the money. Very close to Nana plaza and go go bars. Agree pool is very small, only good for soaking your feet. Breakfast is one of the best, I recommend this hotel greatly.
    Regardsn
    M.R.

This is really one Grande hotel. Stayed in a deluxe room for 5 nights late May and every day was perfect. Breakfast is tops with international food choices. Pool was really small which is a negative but it was fine for a soak. Service is professional and courteous. If you're interested in taking a lady to Majestic Grande they won't charge you extra joiner fee. Which was fine by me since I love going to Nana Plaza which is 5 minute walk west.
  • Tim Yalta May 6, 2009 @ 12:51 pm | delete
For some reason there are loads of Arabs staying here. Otherwise this is a classy hotel with terrific rooms. I always stay in a deluxe grande room. I would come back without a second thought.

Nice hotel in excellent location. My deluxe grande room was in great shape, a bit small though. But I would still come back because this hotel is very professional service which I like.

Really good hotel in red light section. You get a real sense of quality and service when you step inside the Majestic Grande. I always book a deluxe room and enjoy it's modern amenities. A really good choice to stay.

Sure it cost more to stay here but I think it's way worth it. The rooms here are super clean and modern. It's a small hotel but the service provided by everyone here is big. I'll definitely come back here soon.

An incredibly nice hotel and stay. Booked the deluxe grand room and loved every modern feature. Beds were really comfortable and bathroom is just great. The free breakfasut is the best with so many dishes to choose. They even have an omelette station! Best hotel in Bangkok and I'll defintley be coming back next time around!

Thanks for answering my email so fast! I really needed to know if this hotel is worth it. You absoultely right about this place! I'm here right now typing on my lap top in my awesome deluxe grande room. Last time I stayed in a room that looked the same in France and I had to pay $250. Staying here for 4 nights and I'm off to Phuket. When you going to make a Phuket hotel review site anyway? I'm waiting...
    Thanks Ed, you the man!

Very good choice hotel indeed. Stayed for 1 week late December 2008 for vacation with wife. This hotel is very well kept. beautiful marble lobby and helpful staff. We paid $90 per night for a well decorated deluxe room with free belly satisfying breakfast. The pool was tiny buy enough to just soak in and relax the day away. Very close to train station. Heres a tip, never the taxis waiting in front of the hotel. These guys do not work at the hotel and will overcharge you. Thanks again for the recommendation!
