I like Dawin and this is the second time I'm staying at the hotel. I'd like to say that the staff in this hotel are friendly and very good service minded. I like to add that the rooms in this hotel is very high quality. Lots of things to do near the hotel like go go bars, beer bars and you can meet Thai ladies everywhere nearby.

Awesome hotel! Rooms a bit small but modern. I like the service too. The location is near Nana Plaza and many freelancers outside the Nana hotel. I wouldn't stay at the Nana hotel though, so book a room at the Dawin instead.

I was looking around for hotels near Nana and didn't really know where to stay because there are so many hotels there. So I decided to go with your recommendation. Dawin is a good hotel but the room I was given was small. I mean I did know it was going to be small but really. I guess I'm not use to hotels in Asia since this is my first trip in Thailand. Overall it is a good hotel and yes the biggest charm that it's right in Nana red light district.

My all time favorite hotel in Bangkok. I've been in a lot of hotels in the are and Dawin is tops. They have very modern rooms and service is good too.

Great hotel! Thanks for recommending such a clean and modern hotel for my first trip to Bangkok! Love the clean rooms and even the small pool was okay. Service was friendly and professional. I also like the bar across the street. Some pretty ladies there but mostly ugly haha!

Dawin is my favorite hotel in Nana, not only are the rooms very clean, new and modern, one of my favorite bars is right across the street called Swan Bar 2, very sweet girls working inside with always a friendly smile and company. Oh, back to my stay in Dawin. The workers inside the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is smallish but the rooms are good size and bathroom is modern too. By the way they do allow you bring a lady back to your room without charging the dreaded joiner fee.

I've never stayed at the Majestic Grande before but I did stay at the Dawin Hotel just last week and it was one of the best affordable hotels I've ever stayed in Asia. I had a superior room and it was pretty big with nice big bed, a lazyboy sofa and big flat screen tv. But the biggest plus of staying at this hotel is the location. If you are a single man, you will love the location of this hotel. Trust me. I highly recommend this hotel too and think it should be number 1.

Dawin Hotel in Bangkok is a very nice hotel in the heart of Nana red light district. It's not a family hotel in my opinion because there are many hookers near the area. But it's a perfect hotel for single guys looking for a clean and affordable modern hotel. Rooms are a bit small though because of the big furniture.

Good intro about Bangkok. Let me know if you are coming to Ho Chi Minh City and I can show you around.

Dawin is a very good hotel, it's really new and I enjoyed my 3 night stay in a superior room. I only wish they included the breakfast because it looked good. My room was on the 3rd floor and faced the front. From there I could see "night ladies" trying to sell themselves to men. Overall it's a safe place and close to many bars, especially a go go bar building just a few minutes from Dawin. I like this hotel very much and I plan to stay here again next year.

Very nice and modern hotel but the standard room is a bit small. You have a good offer for the rooms on your website but why doesn't it include breakfast? Location is excellent, close to many beer bars and the biggest and best nana plaza. Also in easy reach to Soi Cowboy and train stations for visiting attractions and shopping too.

Just returned from Thailand.....spent a few nights at The Dawin and thought it was great.....it's clean, new, looks good, food is good, staff is good, and the location for Nana Plaza and the SkyTrain are ideal.

Super clean rooms and very modern. Can't ask for much more. Except they should include breakfast in the room rate. Dawin has many english style pubs and for the mother of all go go bar places you have to go to Nana which is just a short walk from Dawin.

Had a great 3 day stay at here at Dawin looking forward to coming back next year. Glad to have come across your website.
  • C. Hasabeth Oct 15, 2010 @ 5:25 am | delete
Dawin is a very nice hotel. Good service and clean modern rooms. Even though this is a hotel in a red light district, as girls traveling from europe we did not feel unsafe. The pool at hotel is so so and not good for swimming and very few chairs to sun.

We really like Dawin, perfect location in busy part of Bangkok and next to a Nana building with many go go bars. Not a place for kids though, but good for couples. We stayed in a superior room on the 3rd floor, not much of a view, but the room is clean and looks just like the pictures.
  • Donald W. Jul 30, 2010 @ 6:55 am | delete
Booked a room here on your webpage and like the quick response and most especially the excellent price provided. Dawin is spot on as usual and a great choice for a single man in the land of smiles! Cheers!

One of the most excellent hotels in Bangkok. Rooms are really clean and fresh even though it is a few years old. And the location is superb, right next to a building full of go go bars. Thanks for the recommendation and excellent hotel reservation sevice.
  • Ben Casey Jul 5, 2010 @ 12:02 pm | delete
Absolutely the best hotel close to nana red light district! I notice you're website offers the best room rates for the Dawin too! Cheers Mate!
  • Glen Dawson Jun 19, 2010 @ 7:10 am | delete
My 4th stay at the Dawin and it gets better and better all the time, thanks Ed for the recommendation. Also appreciate you answering my emails quickly and pointing out some great places to visit in Bangok.

Still one of the best value hotels in Bangkok. I'm staying here through all the red shirt protests and its craziness is next to Dawin. I'm staying at a superior room and all the furnishings and bed are modern. The location is convienent and a stones throw to Nana Plaza and close to Sky Train, assuming red shirts don't close it down again.

Glad to have come across your review. Dawin is a good place to stay and price is reasonable. The big plus factor is its close to many girlie bars and ladies of the night walking on the streets just opposite. I also like the many bars to sit back and have a drink in one hand and watch the ladies. I'll be sure to come back next few months, cheers mate.

Really good value, nice and modern rooms. I like the fact the breakfast comes room rates too, will certainly come back next time. Thanks for the recommendation!
  • P. Alex Dec 9, 2009 @ 10:44 am | delete
Very cool and modern hotel. The price is right though the rooms may be a bit small. However for a single traveler it's just right. Very close to go go bars and have many thai prostitutes hanging around near some hotel parking lot a few minutes away.
  • B. Lane Nov 26, 2009 @ 7:13 am | delete
I agree this hotels is a really good value. It's new and yes very very close to NEP and the go go bars. What I like about this hotel is that it's very modern. I've stayed at the Majestic and Nana and I think paying 500baht extra is well worth it.
  • Glenn B. Sep 21, 2009 @ 8:51 pm | delete
Great hotel and location can't be beat. Plus they never charged me for taking a lady back to my room =)
  • K. Leitner Sep 4, 2009 @ 7:51 am | delete
Awesome place to stay because it's near red light district and nice bars and restaurants. Good price and good rooms.
  • Frank Hershel Jul 6, 2009 @ 1:11 pm | delete
Excellent new rooms, we stayed in deluxe for 4 nights in mid June and wish we booked more days. There are many Thai ladies in this area to meet, if you know what I mean. But don't get the wrong idea, Dawin is not a sex hotel. It's a very classy stylish hotel that's near red light district. I saw lots of foreign ladies and couples staying at the Dawin and I recommend this hotel as well.
    Cheers!
    Frank

Dawin in Bangkok is probably one of the best newest hotels in Bangkok. The rooms are a bit small but since everything is new and clean I didn't mind. I was just here to check it out so I only booked a few nights. Next time I'll make my stay longer. Great recommendations!
  • Bobby Grimms Jun 4, 2009 @ 8:06 pm | delete
This hotel is the best I've stayed in Bangkok so far. Don't even bother with the Nana hotel that's across the block, absolute crap. Dawin Hotel has excellent rooms and very clean. Service from employees are very kind and courteous. Book Dawin Hotel, it's great and so close to bar ladies.
  • Haji Moira May 28, 2009 @ 9:32 pm | delete
Best hotel right next to Nana. Rooms are so clean and brand new. Staff are friendly and always go out of there way to help. And they don't care if I take a lady back to my room. I will be back next time around.
  • Mo G. Apr 27, 2009 @ 9:01 pm | delete
I'm pretty sure is wondering if this hotel is girl friendly or not, and the answer is it is =)
Very good hotel with excellent rates for now. I agree, it will go up probably soon.
  • H. Levinson Apr 11, 2009 @ 8:52 pm | delete
I've been reading about this hotel so I tried and tried booking a room here. Too many times they we're booked full. I guess Dawin hotel is really popular. My friend was lucky enough to get a room and I was jealous. The deluxe rooms here are so new and contemporary and the price is cheap for this hotel class.
  • Mitch Paulson Mar 23, 2009 @ 9:22 am | delete
I stayed here March 18 to 22 and this is the only place I'll be back to in the near future. What a great value and it's cheap!!! The rooms are super clean and the furniture is brand new. Breakfast was decent but that didn't bother me at all.
  • Yohan Jolas Feb 24, 2009 @ 11:46 am | delete
Excellent hotel, location and price. I agree, this Dawin's rates will go up once everyone knows how new and modern this hotel is. Rooms are a little small, but I was alone so I didn't care.
  • Parcell Feb 13, 2009 @ 10:48 am | delete
I like this hotel and I recommend it to anyone who visits Bangkok. I agree the price for this hotel is low because it's new but when business starts picking up I can see the rates double. Rooms are very clean and bathroom spotless. Good location to NEP and all the women as well as great bars.
  • Evan Wu Jan 29, 2009 @ 11:02 am | delete
Just finished my stay here 24-28 of January 09 and this hotel is very new. Modern rooms better then where I live. Service is great. Dawin hotel is very good location, close to sex in Nana and hotel not charge me to bring lady to room. I recommend Dawin and I will come back.
