Good hotel with clean rooms, have no complaints except maybe the slow receptionist working at the desk when I checked in. Prime neighborhood for go go bars so this hotel is a big plus.

Bally's Studio Suites is a good hotel mainly because of it's location. I stayed in a superior room which had no windows. To me it was no big deal because it's a short building with no view. My room was nice and modern with a lot of room. I say this hotel is in a very good location because right outside is a train station, many international restaurants and the main reason why I am here is the gay bars and clubs.

Really good place to stay if you like Patpong's go go bars like I do. Hotels service is quite lacking though but I didn't come here to be pampered. Breakfast which is included is real crap but hey it's free. Also many western style restaurants in the neighborhood so a big positive.

Ballys is in a really good location and hotel is very clean. Probably new too from the looks. I booked a superior room on the 4th floor and it was located in the back which was a bit noisy I noticed. But since I've been drinking most of the night I fell asleep with a problem. Patpong go go bars and a strip of Japanese massage parlors are nearby which made my 7 night stay at Ballys all the better and interesting. I'd like to thank you too for recommending Bally's and I have to add every time I come back to Bangkok I refer to your list.

No complaints at all. Highly recommended and it's my 3rd time staying here in a year. This location is one of the best and the rooms are big and very clean.

I agree with Barry. THis hotel is a good find with a good room rate. However since it's near a soi filled with gay clubs it can get quite noisy on one side of the building. The breakfast that comes with the room rate is dismal if you're a foodie like me but since there are so many dining options outside of Ballys I ate outside most of the time. It's one hotel that I would glady recommend myself overall.

Hey Ed, great recommendation again as usual, Ballys a very good hotel. Nice big clean rooms and close to MRT and BTS trains. Everything was convienent, food, drink and yes even the nightlife of Patpong go go bars and clubs is just a 5 minute walk from my hotel doors. Thanks again!

Last time I stayed here I really enjoyed my stay so I'm back to book again. Bally's rooms are nice and good size, not much of a view in my room but that's not what I'm here for. Patpong is just a short 5 minute walk. Breakfast in hotel is horrible but there are so many choices outside and I don't since food in Thailand is very affordable.

I booked 3 nights at Bally's Silom and was completely satisfied with the superior room I stayed in. It's not a big hotel but the rooms are good size and very clean. Breakfast included in the room rate was poor though. Overall this is a good hotel and I would come back.

Bally's Silom is a small unassuming hotel next to a Burger King. But the rooms here really provide good value. Don't really expect much in terms of service just clean beds. All in all a good choice hotel and I'll be coming back next time I'm in Bangkok.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Bally's rooms are practical with new furniture. Location is spot on and can't get any better. I'll certainly be back next time around!

I like this hotel too because its near Patpong and I can bring a lady back to my room without paying a fee.

Ballys is the best hotel in Silom. I've stayed at the Tawana and Silome Serene and others. Rooms here are slightly bigger then normal and the rooms are so clean. Bed was comfortable and big. This is a good choice hotel if you want to bring ladies to your room.

We stayed here for 3 nights early April and we were satisfied with Bally's. We don't mind coming back but maybe we'll a taller hotel with a view.

Best hotel to stay in Patpong area. My standard room was in fantastic shape and very comfortable. I wish I had more window view though but the area is crowded. I'll definitely be back next time.

I was here early March and I have start off by saying this will be the only hotel I'll ever stay in Bangkok. The rooms here are priced very low and the room quality is high. I don't know how this hotel makes money and I really don't care lol! You'll see me here next time!

You have got to try out this Bally's Silom. Being from the USA I get shit rooms at that price. Bed is big, room is okay in size. But best of all it's so close to Patpong and busy streets and market. This hotel rocks and my choice of stay whenever I come back to BKK.

Super excellent location. So close to Patpong's go-go bars, Suan lum bazaar, bts and mrt. Don't go to Thaniya, they won't like you unless your Japanese. I'll keep it clean since I know your a goody guy Ed Clark. So I stayed here for 5 days in january and I Bally's has great clean rooms and but crap breakfast. Very good value still as so many place to eat outside. Now I'm off to Pattaya after reading your hotel reviews there. Cheers brother!
