Banksy Posters : Behind the Story

Banksy is an anonymous graffiti artist, political activist, film director, and painter. His works, called as Banksy art, have influenced thousands of artist and fans who imitate his unique stencilling and graffiti style.

Since the most of his original art and masterpiece were created on the street or other's property, which will not last for long time, Banksy's art work are mass produced into Banksy canvas, Banksy posters and Banksy t-shirts. Some of the limited edition and signed-by-banksy-himself works were sold for hundred thousands bucks.

In this lens, I'll cover up a little about Banksy (who is Banksy still remains unknown), some tips on using Banksy posters for interior design purpose, and of course an information about where to find a cheap banksy posters for sale. Happy reading...

Who is Banksy?

~ Art Hero or Villain?

This Banksy piece used to be opposite Exmouth Market, London. Unfortunately this is another of the Banksy Disappearances. Visit this spot now and all you will see is a wooden board covering what was once a great piece or urban art.As we've known before, the true identity of Banksy is under cover, which makes his artwork more mysterious. Banksy keeps his identity unknown because he doesn't want to draw attention toward himself, as his fame as an international artist could limit him on his art projects, which are still debatable to this day.

According to About.com, which has taken a poll among the art lover on whether they should call Banksy as art hero or villain, people has been calling Banksy from "graffiti artist" to "art terrorist," "gentleman vandal" to "public nuisance" and many other great names in between. However, 94% of people who took a poll agreed to support Banksy and polled for "Banksy must continue his stealthy work, or life will become a bit more boring."
