Who Is Banksy?

Banksy is a graffiti artist from the UK and one of the most sought after artists in the world.

"Despite what they say graffiti is not the lowest form of art but one of the most honest. With no elitism or hype, it exhibits on the best walls a town has to offer and nobody is put off by the price of admission.

The people that truly deface our neighbourhoods are the companies that scrawl giant slogans across buildings and buses trying to make us feel inadequate unless we buy their stuff. They expect to be able to shout their message in your face from every available surface but you're never allowed to answer back. Well they started the fight and the wall is the weapon of choice to hit them back.

Favourite Banksy Piece

I first saw a Banksy a few years back ( Mona Lisa with a rocket launcher) since then he has hit the spotlight and i've seen some amazing pieces, some that are thought provoking and some that are pretty damn funny! All though are very clever.

So, the point of this lens is to see what your favourite Banksy art is and which if any do you have hanging on your wall?

My personal favourites have to be the Rats and the West Bank graffiti.
