The Banned and Challenged Book Shopping List
What do Madonna and Mark Twain have in common? Both have written books that are consistantly challenged by those who wish to keep our libraries "safe". Well I say they can take their closemindedness and fearmongering and go hide under a rock (a safe place for them where there are no oh-so-scary Judy Blume books). I say we must fight for our libraries. We can't let those who wish to demolish our freedom to read a book win. You don't have to read or like every book ever written (I sure don't), but you do have to support other peoples right to read. America can't lose it's freedoms.
