Banner Exchanges- Part of Your Advertising Plan
A banner exchange is the exchange of advertising banners or buttons on participating members sites. As a member, you would add HTML code to your site, allowing other participating members banner ads to show on your site. In turn, these members sites with this HTML code will show other members sites, including yours.
Generally, the more banner ads your site displays, the more your banner is displayed on the other sites at a ratio anywhere from 1:2 to 1:1. The banner exchanges are generally free to join and require the member to register their contact and site information at the banner exchange site. Once registration is complete, a small piece of HTML code is required to add to your site in order for the program to work.
