This lens in about my personal experience with BANS or Build A Niche Store.
First what is BANS?
BANS or Build A Niche Store is your way to sell items listed on eBay without the need to own a single product.
I have sold a few thing on eBay over the years some where physical and needed shipping while others were digital and were delivered electronically.
I had to keep coming up with new things to sell until I was introduced to BANS. That is when my dreams of selling continually on eBay became a reality.
No more buying products to sell. Instead I can sell other people's products and make commission even while I am out enjoying my many hobbies.
Speaking of hobbies, I have a number of BANS sites now that are all focused around my hobbies. This rocks because I always wanted to make money from my hobbies but I didn't think it would happen this way.
I have always wanted to be a fishing guide but that never happened but now I have a blog and a BANS site on fly fishing in New Brunswick. Pretty cool.
I have even started buying my fly fishing supplies online which allows me to stay within my fly fishing budget and yet I can buy even more now, thanks to BANS - Build A Niche Store.

Why not have a few hobby BANS sites?
I spent a little time thinking about my first project with BANS - Build A Niche Store and my favorite addiction came to mind. Fly Fishing in New Brunswick Canada.I didn't even purchase a new domain, which looking back may not have been the brightest move. I just wanted to get started and I had a domain that I had stopped using. I thought it had too many hyphens in it and had been a pain to explain to people.
Fishing, specifically fly fishing, is a huge part of my life and I have a few friends that enjoy fly fishing and we get out as often as we can.
The fact that we spend so much money on our fly fishing hobby as do so many other fly fishers that it just made sense to build a niche site around my fly fishing hobby.
Even if I only sold to my fly fishing friends it would still be worth it.
Just this morning I got a request for a Humminbird 997c SI Combo and that's not a bad little commission for the short time it took me to create this BANS site.

Updated My BANS Pages, Finally.
Moving from Commission Junction to eBay Affiliate Partners.
I decided I would wait until others, that are more tech savvy than myself, to perform the update so that I would be less likely to mess it up.
We had from April 1st 2008 to May 1st 2008 to make the transition.
I watched as the process began and started to see what I feared, trouble on the home front. But I patiently waited until any bugs were found and corrected before I made my update.
I finally made the update to the new eBay affiliate partners on April 15 and because I had converted all my sites to BANS V3 I had zero problems.
My sites were updated in less than a half hour and I was ready to start getting my new stats and to see what other bells and whistles eBay has that CJ didn't have.
So if you are still waiting to join BANS now is the time.

Backyard gardening can be done with little space.
I have wanted my own backyard garden for as long as I can remember. When I think back to being a kid on the farm I know I didn't care for the weeding part but I sure loved the eating part and we had enough garden to last us most of the winter.We now have the property and space we need to have our first backyard garden. I even started a backyard gardening site where I share what I learn with my readers.
I even make a bit of money from my backyard garden site but when BANS was introduced to me I saw the potential to make money online selling all things gardening on eBay without the need to place ads or own products to sell.
