How Big Should Your Baptism Cake Be?
First you have to know how many people will come to your child's baptism. If you're still not sure about the size, then it's better that you order more than less. Hungry guests are not happy guests!

What sort of a cake filling should you have for the baptism cake?
This is optional. Choose the flavour you like and don't complicate too much. If you're still not sure if any of your guests don't like for example more exotical flavours, then order the classical filling -chocolate!

Still not sure about the color of your baptism cake?
Well, here is my opinion. If it's a baby girl, who is getting baptized, then you should choose a nice, warm color. This could be pink, yellow, white, purple,.. And for a baby boy the ordinary color is blue of course. But if you choose green, yellow or brown color it's ok aswell. The best is to combine 2 or 3 colors as you can see from the example below.

What about the decoration?
I suggest that you choose a cute topper for your baptism cake. It's always nice to see something on the cake for example a cross or angel,... Take a look at pictures below and perhaps you will get your own unique idea for the cake. For other decorations, use the colors that are in common with the main color. Look at the picture below.

And if you don't know what to write on your baptism cake, here are some wording examples:
1. God Bless You, (your child's name)
2. Jesus Loves (your child's name)
3. (name of your child) baptized in Christ and then the date he was baptized
4. God Bless You on your christening day!
5. Happy Christening!
6. Christening of (your child's name)
7. You can also skip this part and don't write anything at all. A cake without that is also very beautiful!
