Barbie Doll Christmas Ornaments

Decorate Your Tree With Memories

Part of the fun of decorating for Christmas is reliving the memories. I received my first (and only) Barbie doll under the Christmas tree in 1962. For several holidays thereafter, Barbie's collection of clothes and accessories grew. We had so much fun...

My Christmas tree is filled with memories, both old and new. With each ornament I hang another memory surfaces.

Did you have a Barbie doll as a child? Does the memory of hours of play bring a smile to your face? Relive the memories with a beautiful little Barbie Doll Christmas Ornament.

The Original Barbie

The first Barbie doll appeared on the market in March of 1959. It was Ruth Handler, the wife of the co-founder of the Mattel Toy Company's wife that first came up with the idea. At the time, most dolls were modeled after babies, but Mrs. Handler wanted an adult-figured doll for her daughter. Working with an engineer, she came up with the first adult-figured doll. The new doll was christened Barbie after Mrs. Handler's daughter.

Have a Wondrful Christmas

I love Christmas and decorating the Christmas tree is a big part of it. It takes a whole day if not more. It's not the size of the tree or the number of ornaments. It is the amount of time spent reminiscing over one ornament or another. And then there are the arguments about where to put one ornament or another. It's a fun and memorable day.

May God bless you and your household this Christmas, and the joy of the season fill your heart.

Lizzy

It would be fun for a little girl to have a tiny christmas tree in her bedroom decorated with
    babie doll ornaments.

I love my first Barbie doll. She had strawberry blonde hair.
Don't have a Barbie ornament, but do have other wonderful Hallmark ornaments that really look wonderful on our Christmas tree.

Would you believe that I never had a Barbie Doll. I have never thought about it as I didn't know they were even made when I was young but I see that they were. Now, I am feeling a bit deprived. Gee, thanks Lizzy. lol These are wonderful Barbie Doll ornaments and would look great on any Christmas Tree. Welcome to the South Carolina Group! Blessed.
