It's hard to know where to start describing Barbies new townhouse since every part of this little girls dream house is packed with personal touches.
After a hard day at work Barbie can home and grab dinner from her fully stocked kitchen and she won't have to worry about her dinner burning as she can set the kitchen timer. Barbie can then either eat in her dining room with its lighted chandelier or take the elevator up to the second floor and watch a bit of TV on her pop up flat screen television.
As the night starts to wind down Barbie can sit in front of the roaring fire with crackling sounds or take the elevator up to the third floor and turn on the tiki lights and relax in the outdoor whirlpool.
As with all the previous homes for Barbie, her bathroom and bedroom are sanctuaries that we all wish that we could have. Just like us, Barbies shower hums and she has a flushing toilet
To make sure that the furniture in Barbies townhouse is up to her satisfaction, all the furniture, accessories( like dishes,silverware, toothbrush, hangers etc.) and food in the kitchen is included.
Girls of all ages will love playing for hours on end and it's a great way for Mom and daughter to spend some quality time together. I have a feeling that Dad will also want to join in the fun.

- I'll be the first one to start off the conversation.
I actually never had a Barbie doll growing up - my family couldn't afford to buy me one so I had a generic doll with clothes that my Mom made. I do have to say though my doll did have the most incredible outfits and I wish that I had kept them. I can still see my favorite - a black velvet bodice, spaghetti straps and a long white dress with layers and layers of frills. Mom even made accessories for her and this particular outfit she had the "cigarette box" that was held by the cigarette girls of the 50's and early 60's. If you remember the phrase "cigars, cigarettes, tiparillo" then you'll know what I mean.
When my son was born we were living in Hawaii and I got the Barbie Hawaiian home for him along with a Ken doll. He never once played with it, but once he went to bed I had hours and hours fun pretending it was my home and making up for the lost Barbie time I had when I was a kid.
