Wahoo! Barbie and Twilight have joined forces to bring us two new Twilight themed Barbie dolls of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. No doubt they will be a must have for Barbie collectors since I cannot recall any other vampire Barbies.. AND they will be a must have for fans of the Twilight saga. You know you want em!!

Edward and Bella are the two main characters from the Twilight series of books, written by Stephanie Meyer. They are New York Times #1 bestsellers.. ALL FOUR OF THEM. What started as a young adult romance series has now become a worldwide phenomenon. Twilight the movie was released in 2008 and the next installment, New Moon will hit theatres in November 2009.

I should have realized that Barbie would jump on the bandwagon. I still have my first Barbie. It was manufactured in 1961. Oh! I feel old.
