    I am not a real fan of bean soup and black beans I don't really like. But this recipe really looks good. I would be willing to try your recipe it really looks good.

    I saw your black bean soup recipe a few days ago, and have been looking in shops for black beans ever since. I have searched big supermarkets and small ethnic shops (living in London we are very cosmopolitan and can buy most foods) but I haven't found them anywhere. Maybe they have a different name in England. I am dying to try the recipe, it looks inviting, so will probably substitute red kidney beans.

    This looks good...my husband is a big fan of beans, and I have tried working with black beans before, but not done too well, so may give this a go...may try using just canned rather than dried beans which I've done in the past. ~claudia
