I personally use Bare Escentuals Makeup on my skin and have never had any problems with it! I love it because you can put just one light layer on your face if you don't want a lot of coverage, and it will just even out your skin tone. Each of the mineral products can be used in a variety of ways. You can use a foundation for under eye circles as well as highlighter, depending on the shade. All of the mineral products are interchangeable with lips, cheeks, and eyes, which I think is very cost effective. There are 20 shades of foundation for all skin tones with SPF 15.

One thing I would like to add to this lens about the product. It does leave a glowing finish with the original Bare Escentuals Mineral Foundation formula. There is a matte finish formula available now. But, if you use the original formula make sure you use the veil over it. It will set the makeup and take down the glow a notch.

The ingredients used in bareMineral makeup are of the finest quality of crushed minerals from the earth. The minerals are light and feathery leaving your skin feeling silky. The Ingredients Are:

Titanium Dioxide - Which is widely used in cosmetics and skin care for its thickening and whitening properties. It provides a physical sunscreen and provides UVA and UVB protection.

Zinc Oxide - A sunscreen with UVA and UVB protection. It provides thickening and water resistance. Is known to sooth and protect the skin and will reduce irritation and promote healing.

Bismuth Oxychloride - A pearlescent mineral that provides the "glow"

Mica - Which is a coloring agent commonly used in mineral makeup. Micas vary in color and give the skin a glowing appearance.

1. Tap some mineral makeup into the cap of your jar.

2. Use the Kabuki brush and swirl it around. Tap off excess.

3. Buff gently over the face in a circular motion for a flawless finish without leaving that line at the bottom of your chinline.

4. You may put another layer of foundation on top of the first layer. This will give you added coverage without it looking cakey.
