A Bit About the Nook and a Gift of Cash Back
What an exciting thing to see, the new Nook! It looks like something people will be wonderfully happy with.
In this lens are videos about the Nook, and a place where you can speak your mind about the new Nook verses the Kindle, plus a place to add and vote in your favorite Nook book.
Also a gift for you to use to get cash back when you order the Nook and Nook stuff. Isn't that great!
At the time I am making this lens, the Nook can be pre-ordered and it will be shipped out in November.

Nook for Your Health and Environment
Let's hope that they have a strong contract worked out with the writers so our books aren't sucked away in the middle of the night like what happened with the Kindle when a writer changed his mind. LOL!
Highlighting is a nice feature, so you wont feel like you are ruining your book. Plus I hope it will be nicer on the eye to read for a period of time.
Here's a tiny, tiny fraction of books I have. I bet at least 5 of these will be in Nook.

Several reasons why book reduction is good for your health:
Fung Shui - Less book piles helps positive energy flow.
Happy fingers - No Paper cuts reduces chance of infection and pain
Less lifting - Moving would be much easier on your back
Personal time - encourages you to take time out to read and get away
Smart factor - You look smart with one of these which helps with confidence
Safety for all - Books are heavy! If they fall things could get killed or hurt.
What would be nice is if they put books on the Nook that students need so they are not hurting their backs with those backpacks.
Environment
I love the readers because it's proper technology, it reduces the paper needed. We should all be using much less paper than we are. Even though it's nice to have a real book, newspaper or magazine, things like the Nook are where we shoudl be.
Books use a lot of gas to transport because of their weight. That is just a given!

The price of these readers still, must come down below the one hundred level before the masses will bring the Ebook market to real life in mainstream reading. Leave a book in a taxi, you've lost a few bucks. misplace a nook or Kindle and it's Crying Time Again! Also, I am an author and I like to Write books. Guess i'm out of luck so I'll stick with my HP Sprint HTC Mogul hand-held. Really, unless you need the larger screen because of poor eyesight, you don't need anything more than today's great smart phones to read Ebooks. Thousands of web sites are out there with free downloads! People CAN read and write! Yessss, that E-ink screen is nice but it's still way too pricey!
just my 2-Cents worth!

- I think competition can only be good to bring the price down and the quality up.
