The last five books I read...

Crossing the Chasm

This was a really incredible book. A lot of books can be bogged down in theory. This book is a guidebook on taking products to market. Moore's curve is referenced in so many of the new major books. This book will change how you construct your business plan or make you to take a serious double take of what you are doing now. I find that most of this book can be applied to every sector and every business.

Amazon Price: $12.21 (as of 08/21/2008)

The Anatomy of Buzz: How to Create Word of Mouth Marketing

Man's Search For Meaning

I originally heard about this book in Covey's 7 habits... and decided to give it a read. It is a really incredible look at what drives us to live life. The principles that take shape in this book should be considered by every manager. Afterwards, you will ask yourself how you can make meaning for your employees and maybe even yourself.

Business blogs

Tom Peters
Tom Peters is up there with some of the greatest business thinkers of our time. His blog can get off the beaten path sometimes. I feel like it interupts my day sometimes, but some links and insights are worth it.
Seth Godin
Seth Godin is good. Very good. What Seth gets and most people do not is that you don't think of marketing as an afterthought of your product/service. You must remarkable products, that can be spread, etc. Read all his books and his blog. They are a must.
Guy Kawasaki
Guy runs a tech venture capital company called Garage Ventures. He provides a lot of great insight into some an array of practical things managers should do to run their companies. Along the way, I find it interesting to see the projects he is working on.
BASA's Vice President
Here is Jason Foth's recommended reading list. Jason is the Vice President of BASA.
