A recipe is a set of instructions that guide you step by step in preparing a dish. You can find recipes in cookbooks. In these books, you will also find cooking tips and hints to help you make specific dishes.

Cooking utensils and supplies help you make great tasting meals. For example, to measure the proper amount of ingredients for your dishes, you need measuring cups. Also, it is easier to cook with the right utensils and supplies. Cookbooks can help you become more familiar with common cooking utensils and supplies.

* Consider taking a cooking class.

Cooking is more enjoyable when you're doing it with other cooks. Check your local community college for beginner cooking classes. Local religious organizations may have classes, too. The newspaper and yellow pages may point you to other cooking classes.

Great lens and in this day a welcome change. More people need to cook and should love to cook. I have grown up spending a lot of time in the kitchen with my mother and have always loved to create tasty dishes. Cooking is not hard and from learning and experimenting a love for it can be gained. Eating good fresh food is the best thing in the World and should be done by everyone. If you don't cook and are new to it, then my advice is to start small and simple, don't try to run before you can walk, very soon you will love creating as much as you enjoy eating.
    Great work
