What's New With Basic Grey?
Something new is always debuting from Basic Grey, my most favorite patterned paper company in the WORLD! This lens will feature what's new and what's hot with Basic Grey so that you can keep up with them, too. Prepare to be amazed!
(Pictured here is one of my all-time favorite papers from Basic Grey - "Tea With Jane" from the Stella Ruby collection.)
NEW: Archaic
There are also some fun accessories, like dinosaur chipboard stickers and rub-ons, that accompany this collection. Perfect for your little guy!
NEW: Cupcake
NEW: Boxer
NEW: Sultry
collection (one of my favorites). It's full of bright and fun colors like hot pink, light green and brown. The elements include lots of flowers, shaped tags, word art and beautiful swirly rub-ons. I can't wait to hunt down some of these fabulous papers at my little scrapbook shoppe!
NEW: Sugared
Two Scoops
Full of fun names like "Neapolitan" and "A la Mode," Two Scoops is a yummy mix of pinks, yellows, greens and blue. I can't wait to see this one in person, especially the Blueberry Custard plain paper. The coordinating accessories look like fun, too! These colors will certainly brighten up my winter days... Figgy Pudding
Basic Grey always cooks up something tasty for Christmas-time. And this year is no exception! The Figgy Pudding collection is full of fabulous double-sided papers in beautiful browns, reds, blues and greens. Typically, Basic Grey's paper is not double-sided, so this collection is a real treat. I'm never sure if I like double-sided paper or not. I usually will like both sides so I have a hard time choosing which one to use! Infuse
The Infuse collection, full of saucy names like "Spice," "Instill" and "Salt," is my most favorite assortment of all the new papers released this summer. These papers are full of colors like pink, ruby, olive and chocolate. They're the type that I just want to skip scrapbooking with and hang on the wall... except for that "Salt" paper. That I think one will be rather handy to have in my collection! Mellow
Mellow is a collection that was made for fall. Full of colors like olive, lime, chocolate and mustard, this collection is laid back, like its name. This paper seen here, called "Flavorful," is the most rambunctious of the bunch. Of course, I have a thing for flowers, as you might be able to tell already! Can't wait to see this collection in my little scrapbook shop. Obscure
The Obscure collection is happy and bright! Which is not really what you might expect from the name "Obscure." My favorite piece from this collection, named "Clouded," will give you a good impression of the color scheme in this assortment: yellows, pinks, turquoise and green. Also be sure to check out the paper called "Blur" (it was hard for me to pick between these two!). Periphery
Periphery is a collection that could have been called "Mellow" if the name wasn't already taken. Full of subdued colors (light greens and blues mixed with chocolate and gray), this collection is vintage. Now, that's not a pun, even though this assortment is full of papers with names like "Chablis" and "Verdot" (seen here). I think it's "vintage" because it reminds me of old things found up in your grandmother's attic. Very pretty papers indeed! Recess
The Recess collection is full of fun names like "Biology," "Philosophy" and "Elementary" (pictured here). The colors in this assortment include a deep teal, mellow browns and rust. Very dirty and very cool. Lined paper is a popular trend in scrapbooking right now and I can't wait to get my hands on Basic Grey's take on old school supplies. Even more Basic Grey Goodness
