I usually just go to Google anytime that I need to use HTML. It is much easier to just copy and paste, then fix up the HTML code. I guess I really only use it for URLs, but still I feel like if the information is out there and available, is it really necessary to memorize it?

Hey I see that you are an expert in html codes and would hope you could help me with a question that I have. Could you tell me the html code this lensmaster used to neatly arrange his/her wallpapers in the following manner? http://www.squidoo.com/one-piece-wallpapers. I can't seems to find a perfect html for it, and if I were to use a code to link the picture off a picture hosting site like photobucket, wouldn't I exceed the 9 outlink rule implemented by Squidoo? Please let me know!

I apologize If I am not allowed to post someone's lens URL on another person's lens without permission. You can removed my comment if you see fit, I won't feel bad. I hope you could just let me know how he/she did it!
  • DickDunlop Jan 14, 2012 @ 2:09 am | delete
Thanks Andrew I gave up on squidoo because I could find no way to have a couple of links.. So I guess I'll carry on now.

Hi I think I just sent you a comment which was meant for an Advanced HTML lens. I'm sorry about that. You might just want to withhold it - as what I said doesn't make sense here.

I would also like to post a comment for this lens which I have found so helpful in the past two years. (will do that separately tomorrow)
  • AnnRadley Mar 24, 2011 @ 4:10 pm | delete
Thanks so much - I was desperate for a way to link from one part to another in a lens I am working on. It took some searching to fine the module numbers on the source page (as there was no find option) BUT I did find the numbers and it absolutely works. Thanks again. I'm a fan of your lens.

  • chuckwells Mar 14, 2011 @ 11:12 am | delete
I have had problems with copy and paste HTML code from my Oracle Open Office documents. Squidoo doesn't like the quotations marks. I had to type in the quotations marks in the Squidoo editor to get it to work.

Wonderful! I managed to figure out making a hyperlink but I have been trying to learn more, especially adding an image. Quick question, can I host from any image sites such as flickr or Deviantart? or are there specific ones I have to use? Thank you so much for a speedy education! :)
