A TrueBounce backboard is going to be 250x stronger than standard glass and 30x stronger than acrylic. These perforations allow air to pass through, and which prevents the board from pulling along the entire goal apparatus, thus weakening the foundation of the structure. In essence, TrueBounce's new products have perforations that help prevent wear and tear and upped the life expectancy of the backboard and the backbone to which it was attached. Also featured, are UV inhibitors which reduce clouding, a solid aluminum frame and stainless steal fasteners. Retrofits are available and all of TrueBounce's backboards are shatter-proof and wind-resistant and have trim colors available in 12 colors
