Bath and Body Reviews

It's hard to determine what to buy these days because you never know how a product will work, and you don't want to waste your hard earned money on something that isn't right for you.

I've done a ton of reviews for my blogs Mystical Beauty's Musings and Sarah's Surprises and I decided that it might be more useful to have all of the reviews from both blogs listed in one place, so here you go!

Hopefully these reviews will help you decide what you'll like before you spend your money on something and wish you hadn't.

If you'd like for me to review one of your bath or body products, you can contact me through either of my blogs, or through Squidoo.

Silky Milky Bubble Bath - A Review of The Blue Gecko Candle Company

I love The Blue Gecko Candle Company's Silky Milky Bubble Bath.

I tried the Silky Milky Bubble Bath in Black Raspberry Vanilla, and it smells delicous, without being overwhelming.

The fragrance was just right for the bath, and the bubbles were great, and lasted for over 20 minutes - and I only remembered that I should be timing how long the bubbles lasted after I'd been in the tub for a while...

Message in A Bauble Bath Bomb Review

Do you like messages in your bath?

I finally got around to trying Bauble Bath's Message in a Bauble, which I recieved in the Lemming Central Sampler, last night.

The Bauble was a pink, sweet sandy scented bath bomb with a message written on a piece of paper that was slipped inside the bath tub...

Bauble Bath Scrub Review

I finally got around to trying a sample of Bauble Bath's Bath Scrub, which I recieved in the Lemming Central Sampler box.

I was really excited when I saw the scrub, neatly wrapped in a professional looking packet, because I love body scrubs.

The Scrub was a sample of the Gingerbread Body Scrub, and it's currently in the clearance section for $7.25.

The scrub really smelled like gingerbread, and it was a lot thicker than all of the scrubs I've tried before.

Busy Bee Candle Shop's Goats Milk Soap Review

I received a Honey Ginger Goats Milk Soap from Busy Bee Candle Shop in my Lemming Central Sampler.

The soap was a very beautiful rose color, with a crow cutout on top of the soap.

Although the soap was packaged as a Honey Ginger soap, for some reason it smelled like cinnamon to me, but I still enjoyed it thoroughly.

Sugarelle Chunky Scrubbie Bar Sample

Who wouldn't love a scent named Love Me, Love My Chocolate?

I received a Chunky Scrubbie Bar Sample in Love Me. Love My Chocolate, from Sugarelle after signing up for their newsletter.

What a great treat.

I've never used a scrubbie bar, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I did know that the bar had sugar inside to make it scrubby, but that's about all.

Soap of the South Review

Check out the handbag soaps for the the fashionista in your life

Well, it's Christmas Eve, and today's the day my husband's family celebrates Christmas.

We've got about 25 people coming over for dinner, and I just broke out Soap of the South's Handbag Soap, and it's proudly on display in my kitchen!

Aqua Tan Self Tanning Treatment

I have to admit it took me a while to try Aqua Tan.

I only try one product on my skin at a time - that way I can tell you if a certain product is causing me problems without having to guess which one of the two is.

By the time it was time to try Aqua Tan it was Christmas, and I didn't want to test sunless tanner on my face in case I ended up with nice orange streaks or an unnatural looking tan on my face right in time for the holidays.

Burning Tree Creations Body Butter Review

Body Butter with real spices for decoration? What fun!

I was fortunate enough to receive some Body Butters from Burning Tree Creations to review about 2 weeks ago, and I've been using them every since.

I was a little surprised when I opened the jars of body butter, and saw a rosebud in the Rosewood Body Butter (you can see it in the picture) and a tiny orange peel and what looks like 2 small pieces of cinnamon bark and part of a vanilla bean in the Vanilla Orange Spice Body Butter.

Lush Marathon Bar Bubble Bar Review

I waited how long for this?

I tried the Lush Marathon Bar Bubble Bar last week, and unfortunately it didn't live up to all of the hype.

I crumbled about half of the bar into a warm tub, and I only got a few bubbles, all of which disappeared as soon as I actually got into the tub.

Lush Review

So, technically it's a store review, but it's a bath and body store

I've tried a few of their products before, way back when there weren't any Lush Stores in the US I actually ordered some things from Lush Australia.

Even though I did order, I was always nervous about ordering too much without being able to smell everything, since I'm pretty picky when it comes to scents.

I did like the Demon in the Dark soap that I ordered way back when, but I wasn't too impressed with a few of the other shower gels I ordered.

So when I found out there was a Lush in Minneapolis I knew I had to go!

Olay Body Thermal Pedicure Foot Treatment Review

Hey, someone's gotta pamper those tootsies.

I recently recieved the Olay Body Thermal Pedicure foot treatment with a purchase of Olay Body wash.

The Thermal Pedicure is billed as a "self-heating, exfoliating scrub for soft, smooth, and soothed feet."

Fortunately I don't have much trouble with dry skin on my feet, but I do love foot scrubs.

I was excited to try the thermal pedicure, but I really didn't think that it would heat up noticeably...

Lubriderm

It's the best - but what did it do to me?

I have to put lotion on after I wash my hands or my hands start feeling dry and tight.

My husband, however, is sensitive to a lot of scents. I put on some Bath and Body Works lotion in the mall one day, and after walking around some more, we decided to share a Strawberry Julius.

The tiny amount of scent or lotion that was on the cup gave him such a bad headache that he couldn't drink it!

I felt so bad.

Manor Hall Soap Company Minty Minty Review

Whether it's in shampoo or soap, I love the fresh smell of mint in the morning, it's so engergizing!

I've been using Manor Hall Soap Company's Minty Minty Natural Bar Soap for about 3 weeks, and again, I've had no problems with skin irritation, or dryness.

Almost Sunset - Manor Hall Soap Company Bodywash Review

I can't believe I've been using Manor Hall Soap Company's Almost Sunset Bodywash for 3 weeks!

Manor Hall Soap Company says:

"Our all natural body wash gel is made from organic oils of coconut, olive and jojoba, and is free of synthetics and artificial surfactants. With added organic aloe vera for its moisturizing skin softening kindness, this body wash feels silky soft on your skin.

With pure oil of lemongrass for the spirit, and ylang to pleasantly soothe, this smoky sunsetting scent bewitches with a kick of other essential oils including patchouli."
